Keloid is benign skin tumor, and their curing is relatively difficult due to the unclear mechanism of formation. Inducing ferroptosis of keloid fibroblasts (KFs) may become a new method for treating keloid. Here, we discover interferon (IFN)γ could induce KFs ferroptosis through inhibiting SPOC domain-containing protein 1 (SPOCD1), serving as a mode of action for CD8T cell (CTL)-mediated keloid killing.

We comprehensively enrolled 193 infertile women undergoing FET (discovery cohort: 38 HCs and 31 GDM; validation cohort: 85 HCs and 39 GDM). Gut microbial profiles of the discovery cohort were investigated during the pre-pregnancy (Pre), first trimester (T1), and second trimester (T2).

Understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms and identifying hub genes and key cell types associated with skin expansion could help predict the success of skin growth during expansion procedures.
Methods: We analyzed murine chip sequencing data and single-cell sequencing data available from the Gene Expression Omnibus database.
Background And Objectives: The efficacy and safety of modified-release methylphenidate (MPH-MR) in the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) have been shown in both pediatric and adult Caucasian patients. The objective of this study was to assess the efficacy and safety of MPH-MR in Chinese children and adolescents with ADHD.
Methods: MICCA was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial conducted at 19 sites in China from September 2018 to July 2021.
Horizontal arrays of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) have shown immense potential for application in emerging devices due to their excellent electrical and thermal properties. The direct growth of SWCNT arrays using high-activity metal catalysts is one of the promising methods to approach the mass production of dense SWCNT arrays. However, an inevitable obstacle lies in the post-purification of metal residual.

By analyzing large, recent ASD genome sequencing cohorts, we find a significant burden of de novo potential splicing-disrupting variants (PSDVs) in 5048 probands compared to 4090 unaffected siblings. We identified 55 genes with recurrent de novo PSDVs that were highly intolerant to variation.

Nevertheless, the efficiency of ferroptosis-mediated therapy remains a challenge due to high glutathione (GSH) levels and insufficient endogenous hydrogen peroxide in the tumor microenvironment. Herein, we presented a nitric-oxide (NO) boost-GSH depletion strategy for enhanced ferroptosis therapy through a multifunctional nanoplatform with near-infrared (NIR) triggered NO release.

Electron beam (EB) and extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography are advanced techniques capable of achieving sub-10 nm resolutions, critical for fabricating next-generation nanostructures and semiconductor devices. However, developing EUV photoresists that meet all demands for resolution, line edge roughness (LER), and sensitivity (RLS) remains a significant challenge. Herein, we introduce high-performance photoresists based on single-component self-immolative polymers (SIPs) with inherent signal amplification via cascade degradation.

Methods: Using a longitudinal, multi-center registry, both prospective and retrospective data were collected from pediatric patients with 5q-SMA receiving nusinersen treatment across 18 centers in China. All patients fulfilling the eligibility criteria were included consecutively.
Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) possess superb properties originating from their unique chiral structures. However, accurately controlling the structure of SWCNTs remains challenging due to the structural similarities of their chiral structures, which hinders their widespread application in various fields, particularly in electronics. In recent years, much effort has been devoted to preparing single chiral SWCNTs by adopting three constructive strategies, including growth condition control for structurally unstable liquid catalysts, employing stable solid catalyst design, and pre-synthesis of carbon seeds with a well-defined shape.

Keloids are a skin fibrosis disease characterized by troublesome symptoms, a varying degree of recurrence and inevitable side effects from treatments. Thus, identifying their drug targets is necessary. A 2-sample Mendelian randomization analysis was conducted using proteins from the intersection of the deCODE database and "The Druggable Genome and Support for Target Identification and Validation in Drug Development" as the exposure variable.

The sunken eyelid deformity is a common deformity after upper blepharoplasty in Asians due to over-resection, retraction, or atrophy of the nasal and central orbital fat pads. Herein, we present a novel procedure, the pendulum movement of orbital fat and retro-orbicularis oculi fat ("POR" technique), for correction of sunken eyelid deformity in secondary Asian blepharoplasty.

However, its chemical inertness poses challenges for etching in terms of resolution and smoothness. Herein, a novel approach known as helium ion-bombardment-enhanced etching (HIBEE) is presented to achieve high-quality SiC etching.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a common malignancy worldwide with a poor prognosis. The therapeutic outcomes of HCC patients are urgently needed to be improved, and predictive biomarkers for the optimal treatment selection remains to be further defined. In the present study, our results showed that BPTF-associated protein of 18 KDa (BAP18) was highly expressed in HCC tissues.

Although numerous cases of CDKL5 have been reported, there is limited discussion regarding functional verification. We described two children with DEE caused by de novo variations of CDKL5 gene, analyzed their clinical manifestations, and performed genetic testing on their gene variation sites.

Animal experiments have demonstrated the relationship between gut microbiota-derived short chain fatty acids (SCFAs) and embryo quality. However, few studies have linked SCFAs to clinical pregnancy outcomes in humans.

Study Design: This cross-sectional study included 120 women (aged 20-40 years) undergoing FET. A cervical sample obtained before embryo transfer was analyzed using 16S full-length assembly sequencing technology (16S-FAST), which detects full length 16S rDNA.
The cause of epilepsy with or without developmental disorders was unidentified in a significant proportion of patients. Whole exome sequencing was performed in three unrelated patients with early-onset epilepsy, with or without developmental delay and intellectual disability. We identified de novo heterozygous variants (p.

However, the crosstalk among various polarization and wavelength channels prevents from accurate mid-infrared detections at high signal-to-noise ratio. Here, we report full-polarization metasurfaces to break the inherent eigen-polarization constraint over the wavelengths in mid-infrared.
