As an effective technology, near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) can be widely applied to analysis of active ingredients in medicinal fungi. Multiple regression methods are used to compute the relationship between spectral vectors and ingredient contents. In this paper, an autonomous feature extraction method by using attention based residual network (ABRN) to model original NIRS vectors is introduced.

Self-Limited Nanosoldering of Silver Nanowires for High-Performance Flexible Transparent Heaters.

Silver nanowires (Ag NWs) are key materials to fabricate next-generation flexible transparent electrodes (FTEs). Currently, the applications of Ag NWs are impeded by the large wire-wire contact resistance. Herein, a self-limited nanosoldering method is proposed to reduce the contact resistance by epitaxially depositing silver nanosolders at the Ag NW junctions, which have a negligible effect on the optical transparency, while decreasing the sheet resistance of the Ag NW film from 18.

Unraveling the diversity of sedimentary sulfate-reducing prokaryotes (SRP) across Tibetan saline lakes using epicPCR.

Sulfate reduction is an important biogeochemical process in the ecosphere; however, the major taxa of sulfate reducers have not been fully identified. Here, we used epicPCR (Emulsion, Paired Isolation, and Concatenation PCR) technology to identify the phylogeny of sulfate-reducing prokaryotes (SRP) in sediments from Tibetan Plateau saline lakes. A total of 12,519 OTUs and 883 SRP-OTUs were detected in ten lakes by sequencing of 16S rRNA gene PCR amplicons and epicPCR products of fused 16S rRNA plus dsrB gene, respectively, with Proteobacteria, Firmicutes, and Bacteroidetes being the dominant phyla in both datasets.

Staging mouse preimplantation development in vivo using optical coherence microscopy.

In mammals, preimplantation development primarily occurs in the oviduct (or fallopian tube) where fertilized oocytes migrate through, develop and divide as they prepare for implantation in the uterus. Studies of preimplantation development currently rely on ex vivo experiments with the embryos cultured outside of the oviduct, neglecting the native environment for embryonic growth. This prevents the understanding of the natural process of preimplantation development and the roles of the oviduct in early embryonic health.

How single nucleotide polymorphisms in long non-coding RNAs are involved in cancer susceptibility remains poorly understood. We hypothesized that polymerase II polypeptide E () rs3787016 polymorphism, identified in a genome-wide association study of prostate cancer, might be a common genetic risk factor for cancer risk. To address this issue, we here conducted a case-control study to investigate the association of rs3787016 polymorphism with risk of liver and lung cancer (including 800 normal controls, 480 liver cancer patients, and 550 lung cancer patients), followed by a meta-analysis.

Routes of odd-even harmonic emission from oriented polar molecules.

We study odd-even high-harmonic generation (HHG) from oriented asymmetric molecules with different symmetries in strong laser fields. A model based on strong-field approximations is used which allows us to resolve the contributions of different emission routes to odd-even HHG. The comparison between the HHG yields of all routes versus one certain route demonstrates that the routes in which the electron ionizes from the gerade component of the asymmetric orbital contribute mainly to odd-even HHG.

Relationship between 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels and inflammatory factors in children with asthma attack.

The level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25-(OH)D] associated with inflammatory factors in children during an asthma attack was investigated. In total, 60 child patients, who were admitted and treated in the Affiliated Children's Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from March 2015 to March 2017, during their asthma attacks, were selected as the observation group. An integrated cell absorption process and quantitative PCR assay for the detection of the infectious virus in water.

Here we developed an integrated cell absorption process and quantitative (reverse transcription) polymerase chain reaction (ICAP-q(RT)PCR) assay to detect infectious viruses, which based on the detection of the viral nucleic acid (RNA or DNA) in the early stage of viral attachment and entry towards cells.
