Background: Multi-omics features of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) can effectively improve the performance of non-invasive early diagnosis and prognosis of cancer. However, multimodal characterization of cfDNA remains technically challenging.
Methods: We developed a comprehensive multi-omics solution (COMOS) to specifically obtain an extensive fragmentomics landscape, presented by breakpoint characteristics of nucleosomes, CpG islands, DNase clusters and enhancers, besides typical methylation, copy number alteration of cfDNA.
To observe the structural changes of retina and choroid in patients with different degrees of myopia. We recruited 219 subjects with different degrees of myopia for best corrected visual acuity, computer refraction, intraocular pressure, axial length (AL), optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging, and other examinations. Central macular retinal thickness (CRT), subfoveal choroidal thickness (SFCT), nasal retinal thickness (NRT), temporal retinal thickness (TRT), nasal choroidal thickness (NCT) and temporal choroidal thickness (TCT) were measured by optical coherence tomography.

Endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EndMT) is a feature of PAH. We hypothesize that HSS induces EndMT, contributing to the initiation and progression of PAH.

However, improving the immunogenicity and durability of mRNA vaccines remains a challenge. To elicit optimal immune responses, integrating antigen-encoded mRNA and immunostimulatory adjuvants into a single formulation is a promising approach to enhancing the efficacy of mRNA vaccines.

However, the metabolic characteristics of AF patients with concomitant CHD remain unclear. The aims of this study were to elucidate the metabolic profiles of patients with AF and CHD to seek new therapeutic targets and related factors of AF combined with CHD.

Our findings reveal that all these monolayers are semiconductors, with MoBNS and MoBPTe exhibiting direct band gaps at the K/K' points, resulting in degenerate valleys and significant valley spin splitting (VSS) in the valence band. Notably, Berry curvatures at K and K' points, with opposite signs, suggest potential for inducing the valley Hall effect (VHE).

The present study was done to estimate the association between eating rate and childhood overweight/obesity through a systematic review of prevalence studies. Relevant studies were searched by two independent researchers in databases including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science, and data were collected from relevant studies published through June 2023 using predefined inclusion/exclusion criteria.

Antibody responses induced by current vaccines for influenza and SARS-CoV-2 often lack robust cross-reactivity. As hubs where diverse immune cells converge and interact, the alterations in the immune microenvironment within lymph nodes (LNs) are intricately linked to immune responses. Herein, we designed a lipid nanoparticle (LNP) loaded with circular RNA (circRNA) and targeted to LNs, in which CXCL13 was directly integrated into antigen-encoding circRNA strands.

Methylene blue (MB) is a model pollutant that can be readily oxidized by PDS-derived radicals. Unlike the conventional degradation process, here a reversible "dissolution-precipitation" phenomenon is discovered, triggered by a simple mixing of PDS and MB, revealing a novel application of PDS in fabricating self-assembled ultra-long nanowires with MB.

In this study, three-dimensional (3D) CsPbBr quantum dots (CPB QDs) were epitaxially grown on two-dimensional (2D) (BA)PbBr nanoplates (BPB NPs) self-assembly in a toluene mixing solution. The morphological, structural, and optical properties of the synthesized structure reveal that a highly-qualified interface and coherence were formed between the two different perovskites.

High-throughput sequencing (HTS) with the ribo-depleted cDNA library was employed to identify the virome in the loquat samples; only tomato mosaic virus (ToMV) and citrus exocortis viroid (CEVd) were identified in the transcriptome data. The complete genome sequence of ToMV and CEVd were obtained from the loquat leaves.

To investigate the association between gene mutation and primary nephrotic syndrome (PNS) in children in Guangxi Autonomous Region, China. The high-throughput sequencing technology was used to sequence gene in 155 children with PNS in Guangxi Autonomous Region in China, with 98 healthy children serving as controls. Twenty-three exon-specific capture probes targeting were designed and used to hybridize with the genomic DNA library.

Thus, this study delves into O photogeneration potential of DOM derived from three different parts (stem, leaf, and panicle) of invasive (SA) and native (PA). It is found that DOM from the leaves of SA and the panicles of PA has a superior ability to produce O.

Oxide semiconductor-supported metal nanoparticles often suffer from a high-temperature gas sensing process, resulting in agglomeration and coalescence, which significantly decrease their surface activity and stability. Here, we develop an in situ pyrolysis strategy to redisperse commercial Ir particles (∼15.6 nm) into monodisperse Ir species (∼5.
