Background: To explore whether there is abnormality of neonatal brains' MRI and BAEP with different bilirubin levels, and to provide an objective basis for early diagnosis on the bilirubin induced subclinical damage on brains.
Methods: To retrospectively analyze the clinical data of 103 neonatal patients, to conduct routine brain MRI examination and BAEP testing, and to analyze BAEP and MRI image results of the neonatal patients, who were divided into three groups based on the levels of total serum bilirubin concentration (TSB): 16 cases in mild group (TSB: 0.0-229.
Backgrounds: Immunotherapy is less effective in patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutant non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Lower programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression and tumor mutation burden (TMB) are reported to be the underlying mechanism. Being another important factor to affect the efficacy of immunotherapy, tumor microenvironment (TME) characteristics of this subgroup of NSCLC are not comprehensively understood up to date.

Gap junctions provide direct communication between adjacent cells and play a critical role in cancer development, but their effects are still debatable. In this study, we found that connexin 43 (Cx43) reduced the area of necrotic core in colon cancer 3D spheroids, thus providing a growth advantage.

The accurate diagnosis of MTSCC remains a challenge. Here, by using proteomic profiling, we characterized MTSCC and PRCC to identify diagnostic biomarkers.

Detailed optimization of the reaction conditions has led to protocols for synthesizing tetrahydropyridines, tetralins, pyrrolidines, and other carbo/heterocyclic cores via [n+2] (n=3-5) (hetero)annulation. Expansion of scope to otherwise unreactive ambiphilic haloketones through Pd /amine co-catalysis is also demonstrated.

Here we provide a case of TAFRO syndrome with the manifestation of fatigue, abdominal distension, and low fever at primary diagnosis, characterized by multiple lymphadenopathy of superficial mediastinal and retroperitoneal lymph nodes, and it was finally confirmed by lymph node biopsy. The patient recovered speedy after receiving CHOP chemotherapy.

Nitrogen removal performances of both reactors were investigated while the temperature decreased from 35℃ to 15℃. When the nitrogen loading rate (NLR) was 110 mg·(L·d), the average total nitrogen (TN) removal rate of the non-woven fabric reactor increased from 71.

However, how ectopic FGFR1 contributes to PCa progression is not well understood. In our study we showed that ablation of FGFR1 in DU145 human PCa cells changed the cell metabolite profile.

Background: There is no clear evidence for the target value of blood pressure control after Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Therefore, our study was designed to explore the relationship between blood pressure after PCI and major adverse cardiac events (MACE) during 3-year follow-up.
Methods: This study is a prospective study.
Objectives: The objective of this study was to understand how sleep duration could affect depression among elderly in China.
Method: A total of 7103 individuals aged 60 and older were selected from China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study. A generalized linear mixed-effects model was used to estimate the relationship between sleep duration and depression, and we performed stratified analyses by age: young-old elderly, old-old elderly and oldest-old elderly.
Waste cotton sheets (WCS) are promising cellulose sources due to their high content of cellulose and large amount of disposal every year, which could be recycled and employed as low-cost structural materials. The present work aims at investigating the efficacy of hydrogel adsorbents prepared from regenerated WCS as the carriers of activated carbon (AC) for treating the dye-contaminated water. Activated WCS was directly dissolved in lithium chloride/,-dimethylacetamide (LiCl/DMAc) solvent and then regenerated into cellulose hydrogels, which were employed as three-dimensional biodegradable matrices for loading an extremely high content of AC (up to 5000%).

Accumulating literature demonstrates that long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are involved in ferroptosis and gastric cancer progression. However, the predictive value of ferroptosis-related lncRNAs for prognosis and therapeutic response is yet to be elucidated in gastric cancer (GC). The transcriptomic data and corresponding clinical information of GC patients were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database.

However, in many situations, complete off-loading of sacral PUs is not possible. Minimising the exposure of wounds and their surroundings to elevated mechanical loads is crucial for healing.

However, distinguishing the two entities is critical, as while the diseases may appear similar on imaging, they are completely different entities. The most distinguishing features of CPA compared to AVM are the presence of normal functioning brain within the 'nidus' of the abnormality and the proliferative nature of the nidus.

Dysregulation of gut microbiota contributes to the development of type 2 diabetes. To investigate the antidiabetic effect of Tangnaikang and its regulation of gut microbiota in diabetic KKAy mice, a type 2 diabetes mouse model was established by feeding KKAy mice with a high-fat diet (HFD) for 2 weeks. The diabetic KKAy mice were treated with vehicle, Acarbose, or different doses of Tangnaikang once a day for 8 weeks.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the prevalence of disaster preparedness and to explore associated factors among emergency nurses in Guangdong Province, China.
Methods: In this descriptive, cross-sectional study, the mainland China version of the Disaster Preparedness Evaluation Tool was used to collect data from 633 nurses working in 26 emergency departments, in August 2018. Descriptive analyses were used to examine the disaster preparedness, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to investigate associated factors.

However, the FLASH effect only occurs, when both dose and dose rate meet certain minimum thresholds. This work will develop a simultaneous dose and dose rate optimization (SDDRO) method accounting for both FLASH dose and dose rate constraints during treatment planning for pencil-beam-scanning proton therapy.
