This manuscript reports a rare case of CUX1::NUTM1-positive B-cell lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) in a 25-year-old female patient who experienced early relapse and a poor clinical outcome. Given the rarity of NUTM1 fusion-positive B-ALL in adults, this case contributes to the growing evidence that such cases may present with a more aggressive clinical course compared to the pediatric population. Our findings suggest the need for a re-evaluation of therapeutic strategies in adult patients with this subtype of B-ALL.

This study aimed to explore antiaging activity and mechanisms of extracts (CCe). We used liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry to identify 23 CCe compounds and focused on quantifying six nucleoside components as quality markers.

However, the electrode materials for proton batteries often suffer from low specific capacity and unsatisfactory cycle durability. Herein, we synthesize two highly crystalline and robust polyimide covalent organic frameworks (COFs) through a solvent-free flux synthesis approach with benzoic acid as a flux and catalyst.

This study aims to explore the mutated gene in a familial case of IgAN, especially COL4A3.
Methods: Family lineages diagnosed with familial IgAN at the Longyan First Hospital of Fujian Medical University were selected for this study, followed by comprehensive whole exome sequencing.
Background: Non-small cell lung cancer-not otherwise specified (NSCLC-NOS) is a rare subtype of NSCLC that cannot be classified specifically based on morphology and/or special staining. This study aimed to explore the clinical features, biological and pathological characteristics, treatment, and prognosis of NSCLC-NOS.
Methods: This retrospective study included NSCLC-NOS patients diagnosed and treated between 2010 and 2022.

Color is critical factor in the commercialization of Matcha. In this study, sensory evaluation, color difference analysis, as well as targeted and non-targeted analyses were employed to investigate the impact of different drying temperature settings on the color characteristics of Tencha. The findings revealed that compared to a single drying temperature setting, a two-stage or multi-stage drying process more effectively preserved the color quality of Tencha.

Recent studies have suggested that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a crucial role in the initiation and progression of lung adenocarcinoma.
Methods: Based on integrative analysis through databases, we screened Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 00839 (LINC00839) as one of the most highly upregulated lncRNAs in lung adenocarcinoma.
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer type and the second highest mortality rate among cancers. However, the mechanisms underlying CRC progression remain to be fully understood. In this work, a recently identified mA-modified RNA reader protein Proline-rich Coiled-coil 2a (PRRC2A) is markedly upregulated in CRC, and intestinal epithelium-specific deletion of Prrc2a significantly suppressed tumor cell growth, stemness, and migratory capacity, while its overexpression promoted these behaviors.

Due to the pressure and damage it causes to brain tissue, ICH results in severe neurological impairment or even death. Recently, deep neural networks have been widely applied to enhance the speed and precision of ICH detection yet they are still challenged by small or subtle hemorrhages.

Sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 3 (S1PR3) is associated with secondary immune inflammatory injury following ICH. However, its relationship with neuronal apoptosis and the specific underlying mechanism are not clear.

Objective: This study investigates the efficacy of an InterRhythmic Care (IRC) for major depressive disorder (MDD). There is a lack of clinical studies on its effect on depression.
Methods: In this eight-week, randomized, single-blind, controlled trial, 120 patients with MDD were randomly assigned to receive IRC or Internet general psychoeducation (IGP).
Background: In advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the triple combination therapy of hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) with lenvatinib and programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1) inhibitors has shown promise as a front-line treatment. This study aimed to explore the tumor microenvironment (TME) characteristics of the population benefiting most from this treatment.
Methods: The study included 44 patients, with 38 ultimately receiving the HAIC + FOLFOX + lenvatinib + PD-1 inhibitor treatment.
As one of the major geological disasters in southeastern China, typhoon-induced vegetation slope instability causes significant loss of life and property each year. Despite the criticality of this issue, the response mechanism of vegetated slopes to wind loading in terms of soil deformation and stability still remains unclear. This research conducted field investigations on 330 historical landslides in Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province, analyzing their spatiotemporal distribution and developmental characteristics to establish a conceptual model.

Herein we achieve the protolignin conversion to aromatics via the photothermal catalytic transfer hydrogenolysis process intensified by the in-situ protection strategy. The Pd/TiO at 140 °C with UV irradiation can catalyze the reforming of primary alcohols to aldehydes and active H* species, which further participate in the acetalation protection of the 1,3-diol group of β-O-4 linkage and mediate the hydrogenolysis of C-OAr bonds, respectively.

HCPs have the potential to impact product efficacy and quality, posing a risk to patient safety. It is therefore essential to be able to both identify and quantitate HCPs throughout drug development, even if the proteins are present in low concentrations.

Material/methods: According to the designed search strategy, a systematic literature search was performed through the PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, CNKI, VIP and Wan Fang databases to collect published case-control studies on the correlation between NOS3 gene polymorphism and PAH. The search deadline was December 26, 2023.
Background: The effectiveness of using a balloon guide catheter during endovascular thrombectomy in patients with acute ischaemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion of the anterior circulation remains uncertain. We aimed to assess the effectiveness and safety of using a balloon guide catheter during endovascular thrombectomy, compared with using a conventional guide catheter, in this patient population.
Methods: We conducted a multicentre, open-label, blinded-endpoint, randomised controlled trial at 28 hospitals in China.
Background: Prior observational research has shown relationships between immune cells, inflammatory proteins, and autoimmune liver diseases (AILD), but their causal associations remain controversial. Therefore, we aimed to clarify the causal association between them.
Methods: We carried out a comprehensive Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to clarify causal associations between 731 immune traits, 91 circulating inflammatory proteins, and AILD, including primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), and autoimmune hepatitis (AIH).
