The transmission environment of underwater wireless sensor networks is open, and important transmission data can be easily intercepted, interfered with, and tampered with by malicious nodes. Malicious nodes can be mixed in the network and are difficult to distinguish, especially in time-varying underwater environments. To address this issue, this article proposes a GAN-based trusted routing algorithm (GTR).

Article Synopsis
  • - The study introduces a new Ni/Pt/Al p-electrode designed for AlGaN-based deep ultraviolet (DUV) LEDs, aiming to enhance performance at a wavelength of 276 nm.
  • - By inserting a Pt layer, the p-electrode effectively blocks harmful aluminum diffusion during annealing, preserving high reflectivity over 80% near 280 nm, which helps improve the device's efficiency.
  • - Compared to traditional p-electrodes, the new design shows significant improvements in wall-plug efficiency, marking a 10.3% and 30.5% enhancement over existing technologies, while also simplifying the manufacturing process.

This prospective multicenter phase II study evaluated the clinical efficacy of neoadjuvant nivolumab-exclusive (N) and nivolumab-chemotherapy (N/C) combinations based on PD-L1 expression. Eligible patients exhibited resectable clinical stage IIA-IIIB (AJCC 8th edition) NSCLC without EGFR/ALK alterations. Patients received either mono-nivolumab (N) or nivolumab + nab-paclitaxel+ carboplatin (N/C) for three cycles based on PD-L1 expression.

With increasing Al mole fraction, n-contact has become an important issue limiting the development of Al-rich AlGaN-based devices. In this work, we have proposed an alternative strategy to optimize the metal/n-AlGaN contact by introducing a heterostructure with a polarization effect and by etching a recess structure through the heterostructure beneath the n-contact metal. Experimentally, we inserted an n-AlGaN layer into an AlGaN p-n diode on the n-AlGaN layer to form a heterostructure, where a high interface electron concentration of 6 × 10 cm was achieved with the aid of a polarization effect.

The underwater wireless sensor network is an important component of the underwater three-dimensional monitoring system. Due to the high bit error rate, high delay, low bandwidth, limited energy, and high dynamic of underwater networks, it is very difficult to realize efficient and reliable data transmission. Therefore, this paper posits that it is not enough to design the routing algorithm only from the perspective of the transmission environment; the comprehensive design of the data transmission algorithm should also be combined with the application.

Nowadays, ground-coupled heat pump system (GCHP) becomes one of the most energy-efficient systems in heating, cooling and hot water supply. However, it remains challenging to accurately predict thermal energy conversion, and the numerical calculation methods are too complicated. First, according to seasonality, this paper analyzes four variables, including the power consumption of heat pump, the power consumption of system, the ratios of the heating capacity (or the refrigerating capacity) of heat pump to the operating powers of heat pump and to the total system, respectively.

Yellow Luminescence (YL) band and blue luminescence (BL) band in a studied unintentionally doped GaN sample show a transient behaviour where the observed luminescence intensities change with the exposure time of the sample under 325 nm laser beam excitation at 10-300 K. Such an intensity variation is accompanied with a red-shift for YL peak at 10-140 K and one for BL peak at 140 K. We propose that such behaviours are related to the chemical transformations of YL-related C and CO defects, and BL-related C-H and CO-H defects during the exposure.

Background: Nab-paclitaxel/carboplatin (nab-PC) and gemcitabine/carboplatin (GC) are the standard first-line chemotherapy in non-small cell lung carcinoma. Up to now, there is no head to head trial to compare nab-PC with GC in advanced squamous cell lung carcinoma.

Patients And Methods: A multicentre randomised phase II trial was performed to compare the efficacy and safety for nab-PC with GC in previously untreated patients with advanced squamous cell lung carcinoma.

Durvalumab is an anti-PD-L1 monoclonal antibody approved for patients with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma (UC) that has progressed after platinum-containing chemotherapy. A population tumor kinetic model, coupled with dropout and survival models, was developed to describe longitudinal tumor size data and predict overall survival in UC patients treated with durvalumab (NCT01693562) and to identify prognostic and predictive biomarkers of clinical outcomes. Model-based covariate analysis identified liver metastasis as the most influential factor for tumor growth and immune-cell PD-L1 expression and baseline tumor burden as predictive factors for tumor killing.

Ciclopirox olamine, a new synthetic substituted pyridone derivative, is an antimycotic agent with activity against a broad spectrum of pathogenic and nonpathogenic fungi. The clinical efficacy and safety of 8% ciclopirox olamine nail liquor were evaluated in 100 cases with finger (or great toe) onychomycosis. After 16 weeks and 24 weeks of treatment for finger and great toe onychomycosis, respectively, the overall therapeutic results were excellent in 36 cases, good in 17, fair in 24, and poor in 23.
