This study sought to investigate prevalence of urogenital and intestinal schistosomiasis among school age children 6-13 years in selected communities in the Okavango Delta. The termination of the Botswana national schistosomiasis control program in 1993 contributed to its neglect. An outbreak of schistosomiasis in 2017 at one of the primary schools in the northeastern part of the country resulted in 42 positive cases, indicating that the disease exists.

Purpose: The aim of this integrative review was to synthesize findings of the published studies on barriers to prostate cancer screening by men in sub-Saharan Africa.
Design And Method: Five-step Cooper integrative methodology guided this review. Electronic databases, including the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), PubMed, EBSCOHOST, MEDLINE, ProQuest, and PsycINFO, were searched using specific search terms in combinations to identify relevant articles for the review.
