Background: Lipoma, a benign tumor derived from mesenchymal tissue, significantly affects patients' physical and psychological wellbeing. Increasing evidence points to a strong link between the gut microbiome (GM) and lipoma incidence. This study utilizes Mendelian Randomization (MR) to assess the potential causal relationships between the GM and lipoma development.

The identification of drug-target interaction (DTI) is crucial for drug discovery. However, how to reduce the graph neural network's false positives due to its bias and negative transfer in the original bipartite graph remains to be clarified. Considering that the impact of heterogeneous auxiliary information on DTI varies depending on the drug and target, we established an adaptive enhanced personalized meta-knowledge transfer network named eta raph ssociation-Aware ontrastive earning (MGACL), which can transfer personalized heterogeneous auxiliary information from different nodes and reduce data bias.

Oral leukoplakia (OLK) is the most common oral precancerous lesion, and 3%-17% of OLK patients progress to oral squamous cell carcinoma. OLK is susceptible to recurrence and has no effective treatment. However, conventional drugs have significant side effects and limitations.

However, conventional root canal disinfectants are highly damaging to the tooth and periodontal tissue and ineffective in treating persistent root canal infections. Antimicrobial materials that are biocompatible with apical tissues and can eliminate PEIs-associated bacteria are urgently needed.

During this procedure, guided bone regeneration (GBR) membranes are commonly used to inhibit the migration of epithelium and GBR at the surgical sites. Due to its biodegradability, good biocompatibility, and unique biological properties, gelatin (GT) is considered a suitable candidate for guiding periodontal tissue regeneration.

It has the therapeutic effects of improving digestive and absorptive functions of the gastrointestinal tract, reducing cholesterol levels, and helping to lose weight. Therefore, BGHJ is mainly used to treat spleen-deficient obesity (SDO) clinically.

Organic small-molecule hole-transporting materials (HTMs) have attracted considerable interest in PSCs due to their structural flexibility and operational durability, but they suffer from modest hole mobility. On the other hand, inorganic HTMs with good hole mobility are inflexible in structural variation and exhibit unsatisfactory cell efficiency.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFHole transport materials (HTMs) with appropriate energy levels and comprehensive passivation effects help to obtain highly efficient and stable perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Electron-deficient character-induced HTMs can generate varying energy level alignments near the HTM/perovskite interface. Herein, we report the synthesis and investigation of two new dipolar HTMs, and , based on 2-(1,1-dicyanomethylene)rhodamine and 4-cynophenylacetonitrile acceptors, enabling high-efficiency mixed-cation mixed-halide perovskite solar cells.

Triamcinolone ointment is the common clinical drug for OM treatment. However, the hydrophobic properties of triamcinolone acetonide (TA) and the complex microenvironment of the oral cavity led to its low bioavailability and unstable therapeutic effects on ulcer wounds.

Results: Compared with normal human tissues, six NCAP family genes were highly expressed in sarcoma tissues, and high expression of the six genes were significantly associated with the poor prognosis of sarcoma patients. The expression of NCAPs in sarcoma was significantly related to the low infiltration level of macrophages and CD4+ T cells.
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is widely used for cancer treatment due to its non-invasive and precise effectiveness, however, hypoxia in the tumor microenvironment greatly limits the efficacy of photodynamic therapy. Compared with conventional photosensitizers, carbon dots (CDs) have great potential. Therefore, developing a water-soluble, low-toxicity photosensitizer based on CDs is particularly important, especially one that can enhance the photodynamic efficacy using the tumor microenvironment to produce oxygen.

Objective: This study was performed to explore the association of oily fish consumption and nonoily fish consumption with all-cause mortality and cause-specific mortality.
Methods: A total of 431,062 participants from the UK Biobank who were without cancer or cardiovascular disease (CVD) at baseline between 2006 and 2010 were included in this study, and they were followed up through 2021.
Background: The association of milk consumption with mortality and cardiovascular disease (CVD) outcomes was unclear.
Objective: The present study was performed to reveal the association of full cream, semi-skimmed, skimmed, soy, and other milk with all-cause mortality and CVD outcomes.
Methods: A prospective cohort study was performed using data from the UK Biobank.

Objective: To observe the prognostic value of circular RNA mitochondrial tRNA translation optimization 1 (circMTO1) in human tumors.
Methods: We searched multiple databases for related reports published before November 01, 2021. The OR/HR and 95% CI were extracted to explore the correlation between circMTO1 expression and clinicopathological features in various cancers.
Objective: This study was performed to explore the prognostic relevance of () in pan-cancer and explore the association between and immune infiltration of sarcoma.
Results: Elevated expression of was detected in cancer tissues compared to normal tissue, which was confirmed in synovial sarcoma tissues with immunohistochemistry (IHC). Additionally, higher expression of was connected to worse outcomes of sarcoma, gastric cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer or ovarian cancer.

Oral inflammatory disease (OID) is among the most common oral lesions, affecting people's quality of life and even leading to oral cancer. Oral ulcers are the most common OID. However, the pain and fear caused by the localized injection of hormones hinder the clinical treatment of oral ulcers.

This study was performed to prospectively evaluate the association between glucosamine supplementation and the mortality of multiple cancers based on the UK Biobank cohort study.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma represents 90% of all oral cancers. Recurrence prevention remains an important prognostic factor in patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma, and the recovery of the oral epithelium post-surgery is still a challenge. Thus, there is an urgent need to develop a smart carrier material to realize the spatiotemporally controlled release of anticancer drugs, instead of multiple oral administrations, for recurrence prevention and promoting the reconstruction of injured epithelial tissues.

Background: Bone nonunion is a serious complication of fracture. This study explored the differentially expressed lncRNAs (DELs) and mRNAs (DEGs) and identified potential lncRNA-mRNA interactions in bone nonunion.
Methods: We extracted total RNA from three bone nonunion and three bone union patient tissue samples.
Objective: Reconstruction of acetabular defects has been extremely challenging in both primary and revision total hip arthroplasty (THA). Impaction bone grafting (IBG) can restore the acetabulum bone mass and anatomically reconstruct the acetabulum. Our study aimed to report the short and medium-term clinical and radiographic outcomes of IBG for acetabular reconstruction in the cemented THA in the Chinese population.
