This study aims to investigate the molecular mechanism of tanshinone Ⅱ_(A )(TaⅡ_A) combined with endothelial progenitor cells-derived exosomes(EPCs-exos) in protecting the aortic vascular endothelial cells(AVECs) from oxidative damage via the phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(Akt) pathway. The AVECs induced by 1-palmitoyl-2-(5'-oxovaleroyl)-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine(POVPC) were randomly divided into model, TaⅡ_A, EPCs-exos, and TaⅡ_A+EPCs-exos groups, and the normal cells were taken as the control group. The cell counting kit-8(CCK-8) was used to examine the cell proliferation.

Yiqi Yangjing recipe (YYR) is a formula of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) that is commonly used for the treatment of lung cancer with good clinical efficacy. The specific anti-cancer mechanism of YYR is still unknown.

Male ApoE~(-/-) mice were randomly assigned into a model group, a Buyang Huanwu Decoction group, an Astragali Radix-Angelicae Sinensis Radix combination group, and an atorvastatin group, and male C57BL/6J mice of the same weeks old were used as the control group. Other groups except the control group were given high-fat diets for 12 weeks to establish the AS model, and drugs were administrated by gavage.

To investigate the effects of different prescription compositions of traditional Chinese medicine and its different extraction methods of compound formula extracts on hypoxia tolerance in mice, in order to preferably select their prescription compositions and preparation extraction methods. Male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 6 groups: blank control group, compound danshen group, compound Rhodiola Rosea alcohol-water extract group (Rhodiola rosea, Astragali Radix, Polygonati Rhizoma, Lycii Fructus), compound Rhodiola Rosea water extract group, compound Astragalus alcohol-water extract group (Astragali Radix, Polygonati Rhizoma, Lycii Fructus) and compound Astragalus water extract group, 30 mice in each group. Each group was administered continuously by gavage for 10 d.

However, splints are highly uncomfortable and contribute considerably to medical waste. Previous study has shown positive results using hydrofiber for skin graft fixation.

Patient Concerns: A 33-year-old man presented with progressive fever lasting for 7 months, and swelling, pain, and purpura in the arms and legs. The patient showed multiple autoantibodies including cytoplasmic ANCA, antiproteinase 3, rheumatoid factor, and anti-beta 2 glycoprotein I.
Aimed to study the characteristics of prolyl endopeptidase (PEP, EC 3.4.21.

However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the pro-tumorigenic function of NQO1 remains unclear. This study investigated the function of NQO1 in the context of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) development.

Objective: To determine the pharmacokinetics and bioequivalence of self-assembled hyaluronic acid-graft-poly (ethylene glycol)/hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin hollow nanospheres loaded with asparaginase (AHHPs) in SD rats.
Methods: AHHPs were prepared and observed under transmission electron microscopy. Its size, Zeta potential and entrapment efficiency were detected.
SIRT3, a class III histone deacetylase, has been implicated in various cancers as a novel therapeutic target. In hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), we previously reported that SIRT3 induced cell apoptosis by regulating GSK-3β/Bax signaling pathway. Downregulation of SIRT3 in HCC cells facilitates tumor cell survival.

Oxidative stress has been implicated in a series of pathological states, such as DNA damage, cell survival and apoptosis. However, the host factor by which cells protect themselves under this oxidative stress is poorly understood.

Experimental Design: The expression of SIRT6 in 60 paired paraffin-embedded HCC tissues and adjacent nontumoral liver tissues was examined by immunohistochemistry. The expression of SIRT6 in 101 paired frozen HCC tissues and adjacent nontumoral liver tissues was analyzed by Western blotting analysis and qPCR.
We previously reported that SIRT1, an NAD(+)-dependent deacetylase belonging to the class III histone deacetylases, enhances hepatitis virus B (HBV) replication by targeting the transcription factor AP-1. However, the potential antiviral effects of nicotinamide, a SIRT1 inhibitor, have not yet been explored. In this study, we show that nicotinamide exhibits potent anti-HBV activity with little cytotoxicity.

Recent studies have shown that crosslinking the FcγRIIB independently of the B-cell receptor (BCR) results in apoptosis in both mouse and chicken B cells. However, the human B cell subpopulations that are susceptible to BCR-independent, FcγRIIB-mediated regulation are not known.

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is the leading cause of liver diseases. However, the molecular mechanisms of HBV infection and carcinogenesis have not been fully elucidated. In this study, we found that cyclin D2 was upregualted in HBV-expressing cells and liver tissues of HBV-transgenic mice.
