In response to biotic and abiotic stresses, the WRKY gene family plays a crucial role in plant growth and development. This study focused on and involved genome-wide identification of WRKY gene family members, clarification of their molecular evolutionary characteristics, and comprehensive mapping of their expression profiles under diverse abiotic stress conditions. Starting in 2015, the widespread prevalence of hydropericardium-hepatitis syndrome (HHS) has led to considerable financial losses within China's poultry farming industry. In this study, pathogenicity assessments, whole-genome sequencing, and analyses were conducted on 10 new isolates of the novel genotype FAdV-4 during a HHS outbreak in Guangxi Province, China, from 2019 to 2020. The results indicated that strains GX2019-010 to GX2019-013 and GX2019-015 to GX2019-018 were highly virulent, while strain GX2020-019 exhibited moderate virulence.

Jiawei Huoxiang Zhengqi Pill (JHZP) is a commonly used Chinese patent medicine for the clinical treatment of headache, dizziness, chest tightness as well as abdominal distension, and pain caused by wind-cold flu. In this study, a comprehensive strategy combining ultra-high performance liquid chromatography with diode array detector (UHPLC-DAD) fingerprinting and multi-component quantitative analysis was established and validated for quality evaluation of JHZP. A total of 49 characteristic common peaks were selected in a chromatographic fingerprinting study to assess the similarity of 15 batches of JHZP.

In this article, the novel adaptive neural networks (NNs) tracking control scheme is presented for nonlinear partial differential equation (PDE)-ordinary differential equation (ODE) coupled systems subject to deception attacks. Because of the special infinite-dimensional characteristics of PDE subsystem and the strong coupling of PDE-ODE systems, it is more difficult to achieve the tracking control for coupled systems than single ODE system under the circumstance of deception attacks, which result in the states and outputs of both PDE and ODE subsystems unavailable by injecting false information into sensors and actuators. For efficient design of the controllers to realize the tracking performance, a new coordinate transformation is developed under the backstepping method, and the PDE subsystem is transformed into a new form.

GaN on Si plays an important role in the integration and promotion of GaN-based wide-gap materials with Si-based integrated circuits (IC) technology. A series of GaN film materials were grown on Si (111) substrate using a unique plasma assistant molecular beam epitaxy (PA-MBE) technology and investigated using multiple characterization techniques of Nomarski microscopy (NM), high-resolution X-ray diffraction (HR-XRD), variable angular spectroscopic ellipsometry (VASE), Raman scattering, photoluminescence (PL), and synchrotron radiation (SR) near-edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) spectroscopy. NM confirmed crack-free wurtzite (w-) GaN thin films in a large range of 180-1500 nm.
