The role of energy consumption and economic growth on the ecological environment in ASEAN countries.

Currently, environmental degradation has become a global issue that needs to address frequently and also needs the attention of recent studies and regulators. Therefore, the present research examines the impact of energy consumption such as fossil fuel energy use, electric power use, and energy import along with economic growth on the ecological environment of ASEAN countries. The current study has gathered secondary data from world development indicators (WDI) from 1989 to 2019.
