We show that in vitro migration of Swap-70(-/-) bone marrow-derived DCs (BMDCs) in response to S1P and S1P-induced upregulation of endocytosis are significantly reduced. S1P-stimulated movement of Swap-70(-/-) BMDCs, specifically retraction of their trailing edge, in a collagen three-dimensional environment is impaired.

In the last year there was happened a series of adolescent deaths in the province of Salta that might be related to a dangerous game known as "the choking game". It has been practiced over many years in different countries around the world and consists of provoking brain hypoxia for some seconds by different techniques to obtain an instant of ecstasy and pleasure. We consider relevant that health providers know about this practice and so be able to recognize through signs and symptoms when an adolescent might be playing this game.

Introduction: The greeting is the first form of verbal and nonverbal communication and is a valuable tool to support the physician-patient relationship.
Objective: Assess parents and children preferences on how they want pediatricians greet and address them.
Material And Methods: Cross-sectional study.
Objective: To assess psychosocial quality of life in school-age children of divorced parents.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted at the pediatric outpatient clinic of a community hospital. Children 5 to 12 years old from married families and divorced families were included.
Introduction: Consultation to complementary and alternative medicines (CAM) in the pediatric population is becoming more frequent.
Objectives: To assess the prevalence of the consultations, the communication with their doctors and the characteristics of patients and families who consult CAM.
Methods: A transversal study was done.
Stimulated dendritic cells (DCs) mature and migrate to lymphoid organs to prime naive T cells. DC maturation augments antigen-presentation capacity of DCs by increasing peptide loading, half-life, and cell surface localization of MHC molecules. Activated SWAP-70(-/-) DCs fail to properly localize MHCII molecules in the plasma membrane, are strongly impaired in T-cell activation, and are altered in F-actin rearrangement.

Recent observations of changes in some tundra ecosystems appear to be responses to a warming climate. Several experimental studies have shown that tundra plants and ecosystems can respond strongly to environmental change, including warming; however, most studies were limited to a single location and were of short duration and based on a variety of experimental designs. In addition, comparisons among studies are difficult because a variety of techniques have been used to achieve experimental warming and different measurements have been used to assess responses.
