Objective: To determine the relationships between psilocybin dose, psychedelic experiences, and therapeutic outcome in treatment-resistant depression.

Methods: For treatment-resistant depression, 233 participants received a single dose of 25, 10, or 1 mg of COMP360 psilocybin (a proprietary, pharmaceutical-grade synthesized psilocybin formulation, developed by the sponsor, Compass Pathfinder Ltd.) with psychological support.

The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the current condition of Idku Lake and propose viable solutions to alleviate the effects of pollution on the lake.

Two rapid, simple, sensitive and selective derivative spectrofluorimetric methods (first and second derivative synchronous spectrofluorimetric (FDSFS and SDSFS) procedures) have been developed for the analysis of florfenicol in the presence of its various degradation products. FDSFS was applied to assay the drug in the presence of its alkaline, oxidative and photolytic degradation products while SDSFS was used to quantify it in the presence of its acidic degradation product. These methods permitted quantification of florfenicol at corresponding of 288, 287, 279 and 284 nm without interferences from any of its degradation products.

Flash floods, rapid and devastating inundations of water, are increasingly linked to the intensifying effects of climate change, posing significant challenges for both vulnerable communities and sustainable environmental management. The primary goal of this research is to investigate and predict a Flood Susceptibility Map (FSM) for the Ibaraki prefecture in Japan. This research utilizes a Random Forest (RF) regression model and GIS, incorporating 11 environmental variables (involving elevation, slope, aspect, distance to stream, distance to river, distance to road, land cover, topographic wetness index, stream power index, and plan and profile curvature), alongside a dataset comprising 224 instances of flooded and non-flooded locations.

A simple and sensitive fluorescent probe has been developed and optimized to detect the non-intentional administration of levamisole (LVM). LVM is used as an anthelmintic therapy in cows, and hence, its residues appear in the drained milk until 60 hours after administering the drug. Meanwhile, levamisole is known to be an adulterant to cocaine and could be detected in addicts' plasma samples.

Alkaline protease production increased with flaxseed, rice bran, and cheese whey fermentation reaching 147 U/mL at 48 h. Statistical optimization of alkaline protease production was performed using the central composite design (CDD).
