While Hepatitis A Virus (HAV) vaccination in global immunization programs has shown a virtual elimination of the disease within few years of the vaccination program, changing epidemiological landscape in India underscores the need for evidence-based, updated guidance on immunization practices. In May 2024, a panel of 15 distinguished opinion leaders and an organizing committee convened for an intensive, face-to-face advisory board meeting on high burden of HAV infection among adults, increased mortality rate in adolescents, symptomatic presentation in children, and evolving landscape globally and within India. Extensive comparable deliberations on long-term follow-up data from India and data from country of origin advocated immunogenicity, tolerability, and long-term protective effects of single-dose live attenuated HAV vaccine in children.

Background: The association between skeletal muscle and adipose tissue (body composition) and early response using positron emission tomography (PET) in pediatric Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) remains unstudied.
Methods: Patients enrolled on Children's Oncology Group studies AHOD0031 (intermediate-risk HL) and AHOD0831 (high-risk HL) with digital abdominal computed tomography (CT) scans at diagnosis and PET scans after 2 cycles (PET2) were included. Two consecutive slices at the third lumbar vertebra were identified and skeletal muscle index (SMI, in cm2/m2) and total adipose tissue index (TATI, in cm2/m2) were calculated using sliceOmatic (Magog, Canada) and height at diagnosis.

When formulating mRNA into lipid nanoparticles (LNP), various copy numbers of mRNA are encapsulated, leading to a distribution of mRNA loading levels within the LNPs. It is unclear whether the mRNA loading level affects the functional delivery of the message. Here, we present a photonic curing (PC) process to produce fully photonically annealed perovskite cells-a fast process with well-controlled, short light pulses-to develop perovskite photovoltaic devices with high efficiency. We also demonstrate how to use the parameters of the photonic annealing system to control the optical, electrical, morphological, and structural properties of perovskite layers for photovoltaic device applications.

We aimed to analyze the National Inpatient Sample database for socioeconomic disparities in the outcomes of pediatric TBI patients.
Methods: The National Inpatient Sample from 2011 to 2020 was retrospectively analyzed for pediatric TBI patients.
The prejudice reduction potential of face-to-face intergroup contact is widely established, but we know much less about computer-mediated intergroup contact (online contact) specifically via social media where interactions are less controlled and mostly asynchronous. Additionally, much of the work on online contact has focused on positive, controlled contact, neglecting the effect of negative contact. We examined the effects of mediated contact via online posts with differing valence (positive, negative, and neutral) in three experimental studies, in an imaginary scenario (Study 1: = 120) and a real intergroup scenario with South and North Indians (Study 2: = 296, Study 3: = 336).

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate various morphologic features of axillary nodes on ultrasound (US) in predicting malignancy and estimate the incidence of malignancy in axillary nodes based on their imaging mode of detection.
Methods And Materials: A retrospective review of all percutaneous US-guided biopsies on axillary nodes performed at our institution between 1/1/2019-09/30/2021 was performed. Sonographic morphologic features of the biopsied node, imaging mode of detection and size of primary breast malignancy were correlated with malignancy.
We extensively studied serigraphic screen-printed commercial silver flake inks loaded with silicon inclusions in order to achieve pinning at the grain boundaries. Based on grain size measurements using electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD), commercial silver ink with silicon microparticle content of 5 wt.% shows significant grain growth retardation compared to pristine silver ink, which stabilizes electrical conductivity up to 700 °C via a Zener pinning mechanism.
