Software evaluation on infant development to support teaching and professional training.

Objective: evaluate the functional performance and technical quality of the Wise Infant Development® educational software with experts.

Method: methodological research that followed the software evaluation process according to the ISO/IEC 25010 and NBR ISO-IEC 14598-6 standards. The software's functional performance was assessed by a group of nurse experts and its technical quality by information technology experts.

Prevalence of neonatal screening and associated factors in Brazil: a comparison of the 2013 and 2019 National Health Surveys.

This study analyzed the prevalence of complete neonatal screening (CNS) of children aged under 2 years in Brazil and associated factors using data from the 2013 (n=4,442) and 2019 (n=5,643) national health surveys. We conducted a cross-sectional study to compare prevalence of CNS (eye, ear and heel prick tests) adopting 95% confidence intervals (95%CI) and a 5% significance level. Crude and adjusted Poisson regression was performed to estimate prevalence ratios (PR) and 95%CI to assess the association between socioeconomic, demographic and health variables and CNS.

Towards a Secure and Scalable Maritime Monitoring System Using Blockchain and Low-Cost IoT Technology.

Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) is a strategic field of study that seeks to provide a coastal country with an effective monitoring of its maritime resources and its Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). In this scope, a Maritime Monitoring System (MMS) aims to leverage active surveillance of military and non-military activities at sea using sensing devices such as radars, optronics, automatic Identification Systems (AISs), and IoT, among others. However, deploying a nation-scale MMS imposes great challenges regarding the scalability and cybersecurity of this heterogeneous system.

Wise Infant Development®: creation of a software for teaching in pediatric nursing education.

Methods: this is a methodological applied research developed in three stages: analysis, design, and development. Product quality characteristics from the ISO/IEC 25010 standards were adopted.

Guide of attributes of the nurse's political competence: a methodological study.

Objective: To build and validate a guide of attributes of the nurse's political competence.

Method: Methodological research. This study comprised the construction of the instrument through literature review; experts validation of pre-established attributes for composing the guide; and clinical validation in the nurses work environment/reality.

Effective strength of the electron-electron interaction in simultaneous projectile and target ionization.

The determination of the right balance between the strong-field interaction of the screened target nucleus and the two-center electron-electron interaction has been controversial since the early attempts to describe the stripping of light, swift ions, by heavy targets. In this work, we find a region of influence for the electron-electron contribution which clearly indicates that this interaction is an essential contribution to the stripping process for both light and heavy targets.
