Background: Differences in cannabinoid metabolism and patient responses can arise even with equivalent doses and formulations. Genetic polymorphisms in genes responsible for cannabinoid metabolism and medications that alter CYP450 pathways responsible for metabolism of cannabinoids may account for some of this variability.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective chart review was conducted on a cohort of unselected patients who had previously completed pharmacogenomic testing and reported oral cannabis use, as defined as "oral" or "by mouth" route of administration.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study analyzed data from the 2008-2019 Merative MarketScan Commercial Claims and Encounters and Medicaid Multi-State databases. Women aged 15-54 years with a delivery hospitalization and health care enrollment from 1 year before pregnancy to 60 days after delivery were identified.
Increased blood amino acid levels (hyperaminoacidemia) stimulate pancreas expansion by unclear mechanisms. Here, by genetic and pharmacological disruption of glucagon receptor (GCGR) in mice and zebrafish, we found that the ensuing hyperaminoacidemia promotes pancreatic acinar cell proliferation and cell hypertrophy, which can be mitigated by a low protein diet in mice. In addition to mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) signaling, acinar cell proliferation required , the most highly expressed amino acid transporter gene in both species.

We reviewed research on computer-assisted cognitive behavior therapy (CCBT) and mobile mental health applications to assess the effectiveness of these methods of delivering or augmenting treatment, evaluating patient and provider uptake, and making recommendations on the clinical use of these tools in the treatment of depression and anxiety.
Results: Research on CCBT has found solid evidence for efficacy when the use of a therapeutic computer program is supported by a clinician or other helping professional.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical outcomes in patients who underwent bilateral total shoulder arthroplasty (TSA) at a single institution. Secondarily, we evaluated the influence of the time interval between successive TSAs on clinical outcomes of the second TSA.
Methods: A single-institution shoulder arthroplasty database was reviewed for patients undergoing bilateral primary anatomic TSA (aTSA) or reverse TSA (rTSA) between 2000 and 2022.
Although clinician-supported computer-assisted cognitive-behaviour therapy (CCBT) is well established as an effective treatment for depression and anxiety, less is known about the specific interventions used during coaching sessions that contribute to outcomes.
