Developing high-performance and low-cost electrodes for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions (HER and OER, respectively) represents a pivotal challenge in the field of water electrolysis. Herein, W doped NiFe LDH nanosheets (NiFe-W/NF) were immobilized on nickel foam (NF) through one-step corrosion engineering, which induced the coexistence of α-Ni(OH) and β-Ni(OH). The doping of large atomic radius W influenced the growth of crystal planes of Ni(OH), promoting the formation of α-Ni(OH), which results in large layer spaces and neatly arranged nanosheets structure.

Replacement therapies have evolved from plasma-derived to recombinant coagulation factor concentrates but continue to have certain limitations. Monoclonal antibodies are clinical prophylactic treatment options unaffected by inhibitors and have better compliance than coagulation factor concentrates for patients with hemophilia.

However, the controllable downscaling of width by direct growth and the underlying mechanism remain elusive. Here, we demonstrate the vapor-liquid-solid growth of single crystal of single layer NRs of a series of TMDs (MeX: Me = Mo, W; X = S, Se) under chalcogen vapor atmosphere, seeded by pre-deposited and respective transition metal-alloyed nanoparticles that also control the NR width.

Purpose To correlate multiple potential synaptic blood markers with synaptic density measured using F-SynVesT-1, a fluorine 18 (F)-labeled radiotracer, brain PET and to explore the independent associations between these markers and synaptic density. Materials and Methods This prospective study included 50 cognitively unimpaired (mean age, 65.

However, effective clinical interventions and therapies that target myocardial fibrosis remain limited. As a promising chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell therapy, whether CAR macrophages (CAR-Ms) can be used to treat I/R remains unclear.

Methods: We performed a single-center, phase 1b-2 study of a regimen of venetoclax, ibrutinib, prednisone, obinutuzumab, and lenalidomide (ViPOR) in relapsed or refractory DLBCL. In phase 1b, which included patients with DLBCL and indolent lymphomas, four dose levels of venetoclax were evaluated to identify the recommended phase 2 dose, with fixed doses of the other four drugs.
Introduction: Constipation is an independent risk factor for poor bowel preparation. This study aimed to evaluate the bowel cleansing efficacy and safety of polyethylene glycol (PEG) combined with linaclotide (lin) for colonoscopy in patients with chronic constipation (CC).
Methods: This single-blinded, randomized, controlled, and multicenter study was conducted from July 2021 to December 2022 at 7 hospitals.
Rifampicin (RFP) has demonstrated potent antibacterial effects in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis. However, the serious adverse effects on the liver intensively limit the clinical usage of the drug. Deacetylation greatly reduces the toxicity of RFP but also retains its curative activity.

Materials and Methods In this retrospective study, the WISDOM model was built using MRI (T2-weighted and diffusion-weighted imaging) and patient-level pathologic information (the number of postoperatively confirmed metastatic LNs and resected LNs) based on the data of patients with RC between January 2016 and November 2017. The incremental value of the model in assisting radiologists was investigated.

Because of its intense sweetness, superior taste profile, and minimal caloric value, it serves as an exemplary natural dihydrochalcone sweetener. It also has various health benefits, including anti-inflammatory and glucose-lowering effects.

Current dressings that promote chronic wound healing either require additional processes such as photothermal irradiation or leave behind gross amounts of undesirable residues. We report a dual-functionality hydrogel dressing with intrinsic antibiofilm and antioxidative properties that are synergistic and low-leaching.

If and how PKA plays a role in physiological cardiac hypertrophy (PhCH) and pathological CH (PaCH) are not clear.
Methods: Transgenic mouse models expressing the PKA inhibition domain (PKAi) of PKA inhibition peptide alpha (PKIalpha)-green fluorescence protein (GFP) fusion protein (PKAi-GFP) in a cardiac-specific and inducible manner (cPKAi) were used to determine the roles of PKA in physiological CH during postnatal growth or induced by swimming, and in PaCH induced by transaortic constriction (TAC) or augmented Ca influx.
Background: Oral antiviral drugs with improved antiviral potency and safety are needed to address current challenges in clinical practice for treatment of COVID-19, including the risks of rebound, drug-drug interactions, and emerging resistance.
Methods: Olgotrelvir (STI-1558) is designed as a next-generation antiviral targeting the SARS-CoV-2 main protease (M), an essential enzyme for SARS-CoV-2 replication, and human cathepsin L (CTSL), a key enzyme for SARS-CoV-2 entry into host cells.
Findings: Olgotrelvir is a highly bioavailable oral prodrug that is converted in plasma to its active form, AC1115.
Generating ion-photon entanglement is a crucial step for scalable trapped-ion quantum networks. To avoid the crosstalk on memory qubits carrying quantum information, it is common to use a different ion species for ion-photon entanglement generation such that the scattered photons are far off-resonant for the memory qubits. However, such a dual-species scheme can be subject to inefficient sympathetic cooling due to the mass mismatch of the ions.

The Li superionic conductor LiBS has been theoretically predicted as an ideal solid electrolyte (SE) due to its low Li migration energy barrier and high ionic conductivity. However, the experimentally synthesized LiBS has a 10 times lower ionic conductivity. Herein, we investigate the effect of a series of cation and anion substitutions in LiBS SE on its ionic conductivity, including LiMBS (M = Cu, Zn, Sn, P, W, = 0.

Methods: In a multicenter trial in China, we enrolled patients with ischemic stroke without occlusion of large or medium-sized vessels and with a National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score of 5 or more and at least one moderately to severely weak limb. Eligible patients had any of four clinical presentations: ineligible for thrombolysis or thrombectomy and within 24 hours after the patient was last known to be well; progression of stroke symptoms 24 to 96 hours after onset; early neurologic deterioration after thrombolysis; or thrombolysis with no improvement at 4 to 24 hours.
