All-solid-state lithium-sulfur battery (ASSLSB) is considered one of the ultimate next-generation energy storage technologies due to the expected low cost, high safety, and high specific energy. The high-conductivity and low-modulus sulfide electrolytes hold promise as electrolytes in the cathode (i.e.

This limitation may contribute to their inefficiency in treating solid tumors, given the restricted intratumoral infiltration and immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. Therefore, cell-cell fusion as a cell-killing mechanism might develop a novel cytotherapy aimed at improving the efficacy against solid tumors.

The model seeks to enhance clinical decision-making by optimizing preoperative treatment strategies.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on data from PTC patients who underwent thyroidectomy between October 2022 and May 2024 across six centers.
Phenotypic screening of existing drugs is a good strategy to discover new drugs. Herein, 33 psychotherapeutic drugs in our drug library were screened by phenotypic screening and penfluridol (PFD) was found to exhibit excellent anti-endometrial cancer (EC) activity both and . Furthermore, the molecular target of PFD was identified as septin7, a tumor suppressor in EC.

Owing to their high light absorption coefficient, excellent electronic mobility, and enhanced excitonic effect, two-dimensional (2D) GaN materials hold great potential for applications in optoelectronic and electronic devices. As the metal-semiconductor junction (MSJ) is a fundamental component of semiconductor-based devices, identifying a suitable metal for contacting semiconductors is essential. In this work, detailed first-principles calculations were performed to investigate the contact behavior between the GaN monolayer (ML) and a series of 2D metals MX (M = Nb, Ta, V, Mo, or W; X = S or Se).

Here, we collect 2754 files acquired by data independent acquisition (DIA) and paired 2638 DDA files from mouse liver digests using 21 mass spectrometers across nine laboratories over 31 months. Our data demonstrate that DIA-based LC-MS/MS-related consensus QC metrics exhibit higher sensitivity compared to DDA-based QC metrics in detecting changes in LC-MS status.

Objective: This study aimed to use deep learning for automated sinus segmentation to generate distinct quantitative scores and explore their correlations with disease-specific quality of life.
Methods: From July 2021 to August 2022, 445 CT data were collected from 2 medical centers.

Background: Although the information on the validation status of electronic sphygmomanometer (ES) devices in use in health care institutions and households is much more clinically relevant than that of ES models available on the market, it remains insufficient.
Methods: A national survey was conducted across all administrative regions of mainland China to assess the validation status of ESs. Fifty-eight cities were selected with stratification by municipality, provincial capital, and other cities, and health care institutions and households in each city were chosen by convenience to identify ES devices in use according to the study protocol.
Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the immunogenicity and safety of a 13-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccine (CRM197/TT) (PCV13i) in infants.
Methods: A total of 1200 infants were randomly assigned to either the experimental PCV13i group or the control PCV13 group in a 1:1 ratio. Each group received a three-dose series of the vaccine at 2, 4, and 6 months of age, followed by a booster dose at 12-15 months.
Developing high-performance and low-cost electrodes for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions (HER and OER, respectively) represents a pivotal challenge in the field of water electrolysis. Herein, W doped NiFe LDH nanosheets (NiFe-W/NF) were immobilized on nickel foam (NF) through one-step corrosion engineering, which induced the coexistence of α-Ni(OH) and β-Ni(OH). The doping of large atomic radius W influenced the growth of crystal planes of Ni(OH), promoting the formation of α-Ni(OH), which results in large layer spaces and neatly arranged nanosheets structure.

Dexamethasone (DEX) has been widely used to treat a variety of diseases for its anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant effects. However, its role in treating UTI remains unclear.

However, like other high-strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys, this alloy is susceptible to stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Additionally, the lower Cu content may increase its tendency toward SCC, potentially impacting the safe use of this alloy.

However, the controllable downscaling of width by direct growth and the underlying mechanism remain elusive. Here, we demonstrate the vapor-liquid-solid growth of single crystal of single layer NRs of a series of TMDs (MeX: Me = Mo, W; X = S, Se) under chalcogen vapor atmosphere, seeded by pre-deposited and respective transition metal-alloyed nanoparticles that also control the NR width.

Genomic profiling often fails to predict therapeutic outcomes in cancer. This failure is, in part, due to a myriad of genetic alterations and the plasticity of cancer signaling networks. Functional profiling, which ascertains signaling dynamics, is an alternative method to anticipate drug responses.

However, effective clinical interventions and therapies that target myocardial fibrosis remain limited. As a promising chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell therapy, whether CAR macrophages (CAR-Ms) can be used to treat I/R remains unclear.
