1600 subjects connected with mining were divided into 6 groups and examined because of intestinal parasites. There were: surface miners underground miners, retired miners and two groups of school-children up to 14 years old and from 14-17 years old, and persons not connected with the miners' work. The one control group consisted of 150 persons with negative coproscopical investigations, the other consisted of 112 persons, who were clinically healthy.
