High sensitivity quantum interferometry requires more than just access to entangled states. It is achieved through the deep understanding of quantum correlations in a system. Integrable models offer the framework to develop this understanding.

Interacting bosons in a triple well: Preface of many-body quantum chaos.

Systems of interacting bosons in triple-well potentials are of significant theoretical and experimental interest. They are explored in contexts that range from quantum phase transitions and quantum dynamics to semiclassical analysis. Here, we systematically investigate the onset of quantum chaos in a triple-well model that moves away from integrability as its potential gets tilted.

Personalized treatment selection in routine care: Integrating machine learning and statistical algorithms to recommend cognitive behavioral or psychodynamic therapy.

This study aims at developing a treatment selection algorithm using a combination of machine learning and statistical inference to recommend patients' optimal treatment based on their pre-treatment characteristics. A disorder-heterogeneous, naturalistic sample of = 1,379 outpatients treated with either cognitive behavioral therapy or psychodynamic therapy was analyzed. Based on a combination of random forest and linear regression, differential treatment response was modeled in the training data (= 966) to indicate each individual's optimal treatment.

Treatment with Nusinersen - Challenges Regarding the Indication for Children with SMA Type 1.

The natural history of patients with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) has changed due to advances in standard care and development of targeted treatments. Nusinersen was the first drug approved for the treatment of all SMA patients. The transfer of clinical trial data into a real-life environment is challenging, especially regarding the advice of patients and families to what extent they can expect a benefit from the novel treatment.

Sox2 is required for olfactory pit formation and olfactory neurogenesis through BMP restriction and upregulation.

The transcription factor Sox2 is necessary to maintain pluripotency of embryonic stem cells, and to regulate neural development. Neurogenesis in the vertebrate olfactory epithelium persists from embryonic stages through adulthood. The role plays for the development of the olfactory epithelium and neurogenesis within has, however, not been determined.
