This study investigated the environmental impact of two returnable packaging formats, performing life cycle assessment (LCA) case studies based on the Canadian apparel eCommerce market. Drosophila suzukii (Matsumura) (Diptera: Drosophilidae), commonly known as spotted-wing Drosophila (SWD), is an invasive insect pest threatening the economy of many small fruit farms in the Americas and Europe. Biological control using parasitoids is a promising strategy for improving the sustainable management of SWD. To use the parasitoids as biocontrol agents, recognizing and understanding the presence and preference of North American native parasitoids and their local adaptation is necessary.

Unlabelled: Urinary obstruction causes injury to the renal papilla and leads to defects in the ability to concentrate urine which predisposes to progressive kidney injury. However, the regenerative capacity of the papilla after reversal of obstruction is poorly understood. To address this, we developed a mouse model of reversible urinary obstruction which is characterized by extensive papillary injury, followed by a robust regeneration response and complete histological recovery over a 3- month period.
