Left superior vena cava's unconventional path to left atrium drainage: A case report.

Persistent left superior vena cava (PLSVC) is a rare congenital anomaly. We presented PLSVC in a patient with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) requiring hemodialysis. The left internal jugular vein was utilized for central venous access due to difficult central vascular access, resulting in a diagnosis of PLSVC draining in the left atrium.
