Background: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common type of lung cancer, making up 80-85% of all lung malignancies. It can be further subdivided into different types. The three main subtypes are adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and large cell carcinoma.

Combined center of rotation of angulation-based leveling osteotomy and tibial tuberosity transposition: An ex vivo mechanical study.

Objective: To describe the technique of combined center of rotation of angulation (CORA)-based leveling osteotomy (CBLO) with tibial tuberosity transposition (TTT) and to compare the load to failure between CBLO combined with TTT and CBLO or TTT alone.

Study Design: Ex vivo study.

Sample Population: Twelve pairs of cadaveric pelvic limbs.

Sensitivity and Specificity of a Weight Distribution Platform for the Detection of Objective Lameness and Orthopaedic Disease.

Introduction:  Weight distribution and off-loading at the stance are commonly used subjective assessments during the orthopaedic examination. The clinical relevance, sensitivity and specificity of limb off-loading have not yet been established. The aim of the study was to assess off-loading on a weight distribution platform (WDP) and determine the sensitivity and specificity at various cut-off points for the detection of objective lameness (OL) and orthopaedic disease (OD).

Protection of sheep by vaccination against experimental challenge with Leptospira borgpetersenii serovar Hardjo and L. interrogans serovar Pomona.

Aims: To evaluate a multivalent leptospiral and clostridial vaccine for prevention of renal colonisation and urinary shedding in sheep, following experimental challenge with New Zealand strains of Leptospira borgpetersenii serovar Hardjo type Hardjobovis and L. interrogans serovar Pomona.

Methods: Two separate but similarly designed studies were conducted.
