Virulent R. equi isolated from foals, pigs and cattle harbor a host-specific virulence plasmid, pVAPA, pVAPB and pVAPN respectively, which encode a family of 17 Vap proteins belonging to seven monophyletic clades.

strain DSD51W is an aerobic, non-spore-forming, non-motile actinomycete isolated previously from soil collected from Kyoto Park, Japan, using a resuscitative technique. Here, we report the complete, circular genome sequence of DSD51W. We employed a hybrid approach using Illumina and Oxford Nanopore platforms.

Unravelling differential Hes1 dynamics during axis elongation of mouse embryos through single-cell tracking.

The intricate dynamics of Hes expression across diverse cell types in the developing vertebrate embryonic tail have remained elusive. To address this, we have developed an endogenously tagged Hes1-Achilles mouse line, enabling precise quantification of dynamics at the single-cell resolution across various tissues. Our findings reveal striking disparities in Hes1 dynamics between presomitic mesoderm (PSM) and preneural tube (pre-NT) cells.

Proposal for a Patient Centered Health Information Framework for Clinical and Personal Data Movement.

This paper focuses on defining a framework to allow individual patients to track their own health related data. We propose a Patient Centered Information Framework (PCIF) allowing patient to manage their own data by using discharge letters. Discharge letters summarize information from a hospital stay, such as medical history, diagnoses, treatments and follow up, needed for continuity of care.
