Objective: A fractional 1064-nm picosecond laser is an efficient and safe treatment for atrophic acne scars. However, evidence of using a picosecond laser for atrophic posttraumatic and surgical scar therapy is lacking. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of using a 1064-nm picosecond laser with a microlens array (MLA) for the treatment of atrophic posttraumatic and surgical scars.

Despite several currently available therapeutic modalities, no consistently effective therapies have been established. This study aimed to evaluate and compare the efficacy of topical recombinant human epidermal growth factor (rhEGF) and ablative fractional carbon dioxide (CO ) laser (AFXL) versus ablative fractional CO laser and topical Aloe vera gel in treating striae alba.

Laparoscopic wedge resection is a widely accepted surgical treatment, but identifying the tumor margin from a serosal laparoscopic view is challenging when using this technique. Non-exposed endoscopic wall-inversion surgery (NEWS) for patients with gastric GISTs is a novel, minimally invasive surgical technique that may aid in complete resection of the tumor margin by endoscopy and laparoscopy methods, removing the whole layer of the gastric wall and the entire tumor, with decreased risk of peritoneal contamination or tumor spread to the peritoneum.
