In the paper the analysis of the clinical course of sepsis caused by Gram negative bacteria in 45 children hospitalized in Institute of Pediatrics at Medical University of Lodz in 1995-1998 was performed. Sepsis was diagnosed by bacterial analysis of blood serum, urine, stool and the ending of central venous tract. The most often etiological factor of sepsis in analysed group of children were Klebsiella and Pseudomonas.
