Riverbank filtration (RBF) is an effective pretreatment technology for drinking water, removing organic micropollutants (OMPs) mainly through biodegradation. Despite documented improvements in OMP removal with extended adaptation time, the mechanisms remain poorly understood. This study assessed the removal of 128 OMPs over 82 d in a simulated RBF system, identified those with improved removal, and analyzed their properties.

Aiming at mitigating the drawback of the well-known fixed-sampling control law, a more general probabilistic-sampling-based control strategy is developed to characterize the randomly sampling period. The system mode is considered to be related to the sojourn-time and undetectable.

However, the impact of grip strength on long-term mortality risk among individuals with low bone mass remains unclear. This study aims to investigate the association between grip strength and the risk of all-cause mortality in the population with low bone mass.

The risk level of pollutants was evaluated using methods such as the potential ecological risk index (RI). Source apportionment was identified using correlation analysis and cluster analysis.

However, limited research has addressed the effects of the coalescence on microbial ecological processes and network structure, particularly in the context of sewage discharge during high amplitude hydrological periods. Employing 16S rRNA sequencing and species source tracking analysis, we investigated the coalescence pattern of bacterioplankton in the Chishui river and sewage across various hydrological periods.
