Background: Cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS/HIPEC) is associated with significant operative time, hospital resources, and morbidity. We examine factors associated with hospital length of stay (LOS) and early overall survival (OS) after CRS/HIPEC.

Materials And Methods: Patients who underwent CRS/HIPEC were evaluated for factors associated with LOS.

Pneumatosis intestinalis and gastric pneumatosis are rare, but potentially morbid conditions in the burn-injured patient. They present a pediatric patient with severe scald injuries and isolated gastric pneumatosis who was successfully treated with a multidisciplinary approach and nonoperative management.

Migrated embolization coil causes intestinal obstruction.

Visceral artery pseudoaneurysm is a rare, potentially fatal entity, but proper identification and management with coil embolization can lead to good outcomes. Embolization coils can migrate to various destinations, causing delayed complications in several case reports. A case of small bowel obstruction due to migrated embolization coils from a gastroduodenal pseudoaneurysm 6 years after initial treatment is presented.
