Background: Acne vulgaris is an acute inflammatory disease of the pilosebaceous units. The bastion of treatment for acne vulgaris has been the use of topical and systemic therapies. Despite many modalities available for treatment, there exists an imperative need for effective noninvasive treatments that reduce the risks of medication side effects.

- The study examined the efficacy and safety of an 800 nm diode laser for hair reduction among 36 patients with brown or black hair.
- Patients received varying doses (24, 38, or 48 J/cm2) in one to four treatment sessions, with hair loss evaluated at 30 and 90 days after treatment.
- Results showed that the highest dose led to a mean hair reduction of 43% after 30 days and 34% after 90 days, with darker hair types responding better than lighter ones.
Background: We report a case of a palisaded angioleiomyoma, a histopathologic variant of angioleiomyoma with prominent Verocay body formation.
Results: A healthy 31-year-old male requested removal of a subcutaneous nodule on the back of his head. The striking Verocay-like body formation of this tumor led to an initial frozen section diagnosis of neurilemoma.
