[Formation of congenital anomalies of the optic disc. Part II. Congenital anomalies of the optic disc with inappropriate disc size].

Embryological conditions, each of fifth congenital anomalies of the optic disc from the group of anomalies of inappropriate optic diameter was described. Few available epidemiological data were given. The influence of medications, drugs, intoxications, as well as premature birth on genesis of congenital anomalies was taken into consideration.

[Formation of congenital anomalies of the optic disc. Part I. Embryological and genetic aspects of the optic disc and nerve development].

Embryogenesis of the eye was presented and definite time of arising congenital anomalies of the optic disc, which characterized abnormal diameter disc, was determined on its background. As well genes, which control development of the optic disc were detailed.

[Organization and the results of surgical treatment of cataract with implantation of artificial lenses in ambulatory conditions].

Forty one patients aged 29 to 82 years were subjected to cataract extraction in ambulatory conditions. Fifty eyes were operated, among them 33 with implantation of a posterior chamber artificial lens. In cases of a lack of opacities in the cortex layers their structure was loosened before the operation by a YAG laser.

[A stereoscopic device for simultaneous imaging of the fundus oculi].

A stereoscopic countershaft worked out by the authors is cooperating with stereoophthalmoscope model 110. The element of the binocular with its original lenses used in the countershaft was supplemented with prisms which rectify the distance of the geometrical centres of the pictures on the frame of a 35 mm film. A vertical central screen prevents the half-pictures to overlap.

[Simultaneous stereograms of the fundus oculi].

Stereophotograms and stereoangiograms of the fundus in selected pathological conditions are presented. The simultaneous performance of fundus stereograms are devoid of drawbacks and faults encountered in stereoscopic pictures registered in double time. A major consistency of the half-pictures results from an identical utilization of the focal depth and an uniform illumination in one exposure.
