Dysphagia therapy in adults with a tracheostomy: A scoping review protocol.

Background: Swallowing impairment (dysphagia) and tracheostomy coexist. Research in this area has often provided an overview of dysphagia management as a whole, but there is limited information pertaining to specific dysphagia therapy in the tracheostomy population. The aim of this scoping review is to provide a detailed exploration of the literature with regard to dysphagia therapeutic interventions in adults with a tracheostomy.

Anterior arch crowding--a possible predictor for mandibular third molar impaction.

Background: Impaction of the 3rd molar is a high incident problem occurring in up to 73% of young adults in Europe. Appropriate follow-up routines and optimal timing for surgical removal of the 3rd molars can be established in patients judged to be at increased risk of impaction. The purpose of this study was to identify risk factors for mandibular 3rd molar impaction in adolescent orthodontic patients and to establish anterior arch crowding as a predictive model for mandibular 3rd molar impaction.

Hepatitis B vaccination among health care workers and students of a medical college.

Objective: To study the vaccination status against Hepatitis B among health care workers and students of a medical school.

Materials And Methods: It is a descriptive study done at Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore. The participants comprised of 206 health care workers of various categories and 327 medical students.
