Introduction: Transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement (TPVR) is increasingly used to treat complications related to dysfunctional right ventricular outflow tracts (RVOT). Candidacy is limited by RVOT diameter and coronary artery anatomy. We present the case of a branch pulmonary artery (BPA) that was too large to accommodate a single TPVR and underwent placement of 2 TPVR.

The clinical impact of preoperative serum carbohydrate antygen 19-9 (CA 19-9) levels have been disscussed. The aim of this study was a comparative analysis of the concentrations in serum of adipocytokines: adiponectin and leptin and CA 19-9 in patients with pancreatic cancer (PC), chronic pancreatitis (CP) and control group (CG).

[Dysregulation of the mTOR signaling pathway in the pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorders].

Mammalian target of rapamycin (mTor) plays multiple role in central nervous system and is involved in regulation of cell viability, differentiation, transcription, translation, protein degradation, actin cytoskeletal organization and autophagy. Recent experimental and clinical studies reveal that disturbances of mTOR signaling are involved in the pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorders (ASD). This article reviews current data on the alteration in the mTOR transduction cascade, which may contribute to common neurobehavioral disorders typical for ASD.
