Accumulating evidence indicates that cellular senescence is closely associated with osteoarthritis. However, there is limited research on the mechanisms underlying fibroblast-like synoviocyte senescence and its impact on osteoarthritis progression. Here, we elucidate a positive correlation between fibroblast-like synoviocyte senescence and osteoarthritis progression and reveal that GATD3A deficiency induces fibroblast-like synoviocyte senescence.

Reservoir Stochastic Simulation Based on Octave Convolution and Multistage Generative Adversarial Network.

For finely representation of complex reservoir units, higher computing overburden and lower spatial resolution are limited to traditional stochastic simulation. Therefore, based on Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), spatial distribution patterns of regional variables can be reproduced through high-order statistical fitting. However, parameters of GANs cannot be optimized under insufficient training samples.

MDA5-positive dermatomyositis without muscle weakness and rash: a case report and literature review.

Melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 (MDA5)-positive dermatomyositis (DM) is a rare systemic autoimmune disease associated with a high rate of mortality attributable to rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease. MDA5-positive DM is often complicated by a typical rash and muscle weakness. Herein, we describe a 50-year-old woman who presented with worsening pulmonary symptoms with an absence of typical clinical characteristics.

Association of calf circumference with osteoporosis and hip fracture in middle-aged and older adults: a secondary analysis.

Background: Osteosarcopenia is a geriatric syndrome associated with an increased risk of frailty, falls, fractures, disability, and death. Calf circumference (CC) has been used as a simple and practical skeletal muscle marker to diagnose sarcopenia. This study aimed to explore the relationship of calf circumference and osteoporosis (OP) and hip fractures (HF) in middle-aged and older adults.

A clinical practical model for preoperative prediction of visual outcome for pituitary adenoma patients in a retrospective and prospective study.
