However, its proliferative effect has not been extrapolated to human gingival fibroblasts (HGFs). Study Design: A randomized, double-blind placebo controlled trial in multimodal analgesia for postoperative pain was conducted.
Objective: To examine whether combination of corticosteroid and bupivacaine administered in patients undergoing posterior lumbosacral spine surgery reduces postoperative morphine consumption, back and leg pain relief, and improves functional disability and general health status.
Summary Of Background Data: Patients with lumbar spine surgery had moderate to severe postoperative pain.
Background: Anxiety disorders are characterised by long term worry, tension, nervousness, fidgeting and symptoms of autonomic system hyperactivity. Meditation is an age-old self regulatory strategy which is gaining more interest in mental health and psychiatry. Meditation can reduce arousal state and may ameliorate anxiety symptoms in various anxiety conditions.

Background: Tramadol is a weak opioid agonist with antinociceptive effects through its action on the mu-receptor and by inhibiting the neuronal re-uptake of both noradrenaline and serotonin. Tramadol is commonly used for treatment of mild to moderate post-operative pain. An oral form of sustained-release tramadol (SR) was recently formulated for reducing the administration frequency from qid to bid.
