[Examination of two sampling methods (pistolet and jet washing) for endometrial tissue (author's transl)].

The Pistolet-Aspiration and Gravlee Jet-Wash Techniques were used to examine 112 patients at random and the efficacy of each technique compared. The Pistolet-Aspiration technique is more often applicable and significantly provides sufficient material for cytologic and histologic evaluation. The histologic diagnosis was compared with the histologic diagnosis of the uteri after hysterectomy in all cases.
