Reichel Syndrome in Children: A Case Report.

Reichel syndrome or primary synovial chondromatosis (PSC) is an uncommon benign metaplastic condition that usually affects large joints. Though shoulder involvement was scarce, there are only a few cases in the pediatric population. A 14- year-old boy was admitted to the Pediatric Orthopedics department with right shoulder pain for 14 months.

Observer design for Takagi-Sugeno systems with unmeasurable premise variables using a non-quadratic Lyapunov function.

This work presents a contribution to reduce the conservatism in nonlinear observer for TakagiSugeno fuzzy systems with unmeasurable premise variables based on the mean value theorem. The conservatism was reduced through the use of non-quadratic Lyapunov function (NQLF) rather than the quadratic form used in previous works. The stability conditions are given in the form of Bilinear Matrix Inequalities (BMI) whereby an effective solution to solve this type of problem is presented using linear solvers which are characterized by their computational efficiency.

The inequity of global healthcare in pediatric rheumatology.

In pediatric rheumatology, global health inequity relates to the uneven distribution of healthcare resources, accessibility, and health outcomes among children with rheumatic conditions across various countries, regions, and socioeconomic groups. This inequity can manifest in various ways. This review article provides an overview of common rheumatic diseases, such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus, which significantly contribute to and are affected by disparities in global healthcare.
