Jarosite residues are typical hazardous waste byproducts generated during the iron removal process in hydrometallurgical solutions. The jarosite process is widely used for iron removal in zinc hydrometallurgy; jarosite disposal has become a significant barrier to sustainable development in the industry. During this process, jarosite residues entrain and co-precipitate with heavy metals, which are hazardous but valuable.

We present a case of a female patient with SLE who developed TMA and NCPH and responded positively to rituximab and plasma exchange treatment.
Case Description: A 53-year-old woman was admitted with 6 h of confusion.
Unlabelled: Calcium imaging is a key method to record the spiking activity of identified and genetically targeted neurons. However, the observed calcium signals are only an indirect readout of the underlying electrophysiological events (single spikes or bursts of spikes) and require dedicated algorithms to recover the spike rate. These algorithms for spike inference can be optimized using ground truth data from combined electrical and optical recordings, but it is not clear how such optimized algorithms perform on cell types and brain regions for which ground truth does not exist.

In this study, we explored the effects of endometriosis on risk of chromosomally aberrant in miscarried products of conception (POC) after assisted reproductive treatment (ART), including fresh and frozen cycles. Miscarried POCs were collected from EMS patients (N = 102) and non-EMS patients (N = 441).
