Background: Lacertus syndrome involves dynamic median nerve compression by the lacertus fibrosus, leading to sensory symptoms and loss of strength. Prevalence in the general population is unclear.

Objective: This study aimed to determine the prevalence of lacertus syndrome in the Belgian population and to evaluate the effectiveness of the exhaustion test combined with the scratch collapse test.

Intraneural Lipoma: A Rare Cause of Median Nerve Compression.

Intraneural lipomatous tumors are rare lesions that mostly affect the upper extremities. These slowly growing tumors can have a serious neurological and functional impact when they reach a significantly large size. We report herein a case of a 53-year-old female who presented with a large median nerve intraneural lipomatous tumor causing compression-related signs.

Dupuytren's disease is a common condition in hand surgery. The fifth finger is frequently affected, pre- senting the highest recurrence rate after surgical treatment. The ulnar lateral-digital flap is used when a skin defect prevents direct closure after fasciectomy of the fifth finger at the level of the MP joint.

Flexor digitorum profundus tendon infiltration by post-traumatic hemangioma. A pediatric case.

Pediatric cases of post-traumatic hemangioma of the palm are rare. Clinical evaluation and imaging are sometimes ambiguous and surgical exploration may show more conclusive results. This case report discusses the diagnosis and treatment of a teenager with post-traumatic hemangioma infiltrating the flexor digitorum profundus tendon of the index finger.
