Health inequities inhibit global development and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. One gendered health area, Menstrual Health & Hygiene (MHH), has received increasing attention in Low- and Middle-Income Countries as a barrier to health, wellbeing, and gender equity. Recent anecdotal evidence in Australia highlights that MHH also present challenges to High Income Countries, particularly among underrepresented populations, such as Indigenous Australian peoples, people from low socio-economic backgrounds, or communities that are remotely located.

Background: Patients with follicular lymphoma (FL) relapsing after an autologous transplant (autoSCT) may be treated with a variety of therapies, including a reduced intensity allogeneic transplant (RICalloSCT). We conducted a retrospective analysis of a large cohort of patients undergoing RICalloSCT for FL in this setting.

Patients And Methods: A total of 183 patients, median age 45 years (range 21-69), had undergone an autoSCT at a median of 30 months before the RICalloSCT.

There are few empirical studies about the role of Aboriginal sporting organisations in promoting wellbeing. The aim of the present study was to understand the impact of an Aboriginal community sporting team and its environment on the social, emotional and physical wellbeing of young Aboriginal men, and to identify barriers and motivators for participation. A literature review of the impact of sport on the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal participants was conducted.

The HoBiCaT facility has been set up and operated at the Helmholtz-Zentrum-Berlin and BESSY since 2005. Its purpose is testing superconducting cavities in cw mode of operation and it was successfully demonstrated that TESLA pulsed technology can be used for cw mode of operation with only minor changes. Issues that were addressed comprise of elevated dynamic thermal losses in the cavity walls, necessary modifications in the cryogenics and the cavity processing, the optimum choice of operational parameters such as cavity temperature or bandwidth, the characterization of higher order modes in the cavity, and the usability of existing tuners and couplers for cw.

The oxidative modification of low density lipoprotein (LDL) has been implicated as an early step in the formation of atheromatous lesions. In vitro studies suggest it to be accelerated, or even initiated, by transition metals such as iron or copper in combination with a reducing agent. Even if such metals have been demonstrated in atheroma gruels, their origin and precise localisation within human atheroma are presently unknown.
