1-Alkyl indazoles are a ubiquitous and privileged motif within medicinal chemistry, yet methods to selectively furnish 1-alkyl indazoles with simple alkyl side chains remain sparse. Herein, negative data from high-throughput experimentation (HTE) enabled a confident pivot of resource from continued optimisation to the development of an alternative reaction. This workflow culminated in a methodology for the synthesis of 1-alkyl indazoles.

Low-energy (LE) high-resolution (HR) collimators provide superior spatial resolution. However due to septal penetration of high-energy photons these provide poorer contrast than medium-energy (ME) general-purpose (GP) collimators.

Background: To show whether the incidental radiation exposure received by comforters and carers of children undergoing molecular radiotherapy was kept as low as reasonably achievable and was within English national dose constraints.
Procedure: The radiation exposure of adult comforters and carers was routinely monitored with a whole body personal dose meter while the child was in hospital. Data were collected on iodine-131 meta-iodobenzylguanidine ( I-mIBG), lutetium-177 DOTATATE ( Lu-DOTATATE), and iodine-131 sodium iodide ( I-NaI) treatments.
Introduction: A three-dimensional model-based resolution recovery (RR) reconstruction algorithm that compensates for collimator-detector response, resulting in an improvement in reconstructed spatial resolution and signal-to-noise ratio of single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) images, was tested. The software is said to retain image quality even with reduced acquisition time. Clinically, any improvement in patient throughput without loss of quality is to be welcomed.
