Due to its documented records and technological achievements, in vitro embryo creation technology is still honored worldwide forty years after Louise Brown's birth on July 25, 1978. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that one in six people globally who are of reproductive age may have infertility at some point in their lives. In this environment, it has become noteworthy for couples or patients to want to become pregnant through operations carried out by Assisted Human Reproduction Centers (AHRCs).

The experiment was performed in a protected (screened) environment using a randomized block design and analyzed in a 5 × 4 factorial scheme, with four replicates, with the plot formed by two plants. The treatments were formed from the combination of the factor electrical conductivity of irrigation water (ECw 0.

In this sense, the identification of genotypes tolerant to water deficit associated with irrigation management strategies is extremely important. In this context, the objective of this study was to evaluate the morphology, production, water consumption, and water use efficiency of colored fiber cotton genotypes submitted to irrigation strategies with a water deficit in the phenological phases.

A method based on ultrasound-assisted emulsification liquid-liquid microextraction (USAEME) for cadmium determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) was developed in this work. USAEME is based on the use of the mixture of 1,2-dichloroethane and trichloroethylene as an acceptor phase, 2-(2-bromo-5-pyridylazo)-5(diethylamino)phenol (Br-PADAP) as a chelating reagent, and ethanol as a dispersive solvent. The composition of the extraction and dispersive solvents, the volume of the extraction solvent, pH, and the sonication time were optimized using the multivariate strategy.
