Background And Purpose: As flow diversion (FD) is becoming increasingly important in the endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms, the rate of technical complications is also increasing. Inadequate FD implantation may lead to both ischemic complications and decreased treatment efficacy. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of off-label stent retriever (SR) use in managing technical complications associated with FD implantation.

Methods: The TriNetX database was used to gather data for patients who had face, head, or neck burn including mouth and pharynx and history of sleep study with adenotonsillectomy. A comparison of persistent SDB or OSA was done between cohort 1, a group with sleep study and adenotonsillectomy after burn injury, and cohort 2, a group with treatment before a burn.

Background: This study reports a multicenter experience of using hydrophilic polymer-coated (HPC) flow diverters with prasugrel single antiplatelet therapy to treat ruptured aneurysms with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH).
Methods: Patients treated for intracranial aneurysms within 30 days after SAH with a p64/p48 MW HPC flow diverter were prospectively identified. Clinical presentation and outcomes, periprocedural and postprocedural complications, and degree of occlusion at follow-up were evaluated.
Background: In the domain of natural language processing (NLP), the development and success of advanced language models are predominantly anchored in the richness of available linguistic resources. Languages such as Azerbaijani, which is classified as a low-resource, often face challenges arising from limited labeled datasets, consequently hindering effective model training.
Methodology: The primary objective of this study was to enhance the effectiveness and generalization capabilities of news text classification models using text augmentation techniques.
BACKGROUND Aortic dissection is rare after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). It is a potentially fatal complication of cardiac surgery. Reoperation may pose problems with thoracotomy, adhesiolysis, and myocardial protection.

Drug-coated balloons (DCBs) are designed to decrease neointimal hyperplasia, however rarely used in the neurovascular setting. This study retrospectively analyzes mid-term results of DCB-treated in-stent restenosis (ISR) of the ICA.

This includes cytosine and adenosine base editors and more recently guanosine base editors. Because of having low off-target and indel rates, there is a growing interest in developing and evolving this research field.

Herein, we report a first-in-literature liver transplant done on a 7-year-old girl because of liver cirrhosis caused by the Berardinelli-Seip syndrome.
Case Report: Physical examination showed prominent subdermal fat tissue loss and mild muscle hypertrophy, giving her a slim appearance, hirsutism, thick hair, a large head in contrast to the body, low anterior hairline, icterus, prominent facial contours, prominent mandibula, loss of buccal fat, low set ears, and large limbs.

Objectives: To assess the influence of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, in shaping public perceptions about tonsillectomies and to identify the nature of the content disseminated on these platforms.
Methods: A comprehensive analysis of 1482 relevant social media posts related to tonsillectomies was conducted across major platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Content was categorized based on author, topic of the post, timeframe, and overall tone.
Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate long-term outcomes in patients who underwent carotid artery stenting (CAS) for symptomatic or asymptomatic high-grade stenosis.
Methods: A total of 1158 patients (asymptomatic, n = 636; symptomatic, n = 522) underwent CAS at our center between 2009 and 2020. A total of 560 patients or contacts (asymptomatic, n = 316; symptomatic, n = 244) were interviewed by telephone to evaluate long-term outcomes with a mean follow-up of 5 years.
The aim of this study is to compare the physicochemical properties and yields of pectins extracted from onion waste under hot acid (HAE) and pulsed ultrasound-assisted extraction (PUAE) methods using different organic-inorganic acids, their mixtures, and pure water. The extraction temperature for experiments carried out under HAE was kept at 90°C for 90 min, whereas PUAE experiments were accomplished at RT in 15 min. In general, HAE gave better pectin yields compared with PUAE due to the significance of the increasing extraction temperature for the release of pectin from the plant matrix.

Accurate identification of the severity of hydronephrosis is crucial in clinical management, as high-grade hydronephrosis can cause significant damage to the kidney. In this pilot study, we demonstrate the feasibility of machine learning in differentiating between high and low-grade hydronephrosis in pediatric patients.

Robot-assisted laparoscopic extravesical ureteral reimplantation (RALUR-EV) using the LUAA technique has emerged as a viable alternative to traditional open and laparoscopic surgical correction.
Objective: To evaluate the outcomes, reflux resolution, urinary retention, and complications associated with bilateral RALUR-EV for primary VUR using the LUAA Gundeti technique in pediatric patients.
Objective: Vedolizumab is a novel anti-inflammatory molecule that is currently being used in the treatment of refractory inflammatory bowel disease. The mode of action is inhibiting the binding of activated T lymphocytes to the adhesion molecule 1 of intestinal mucosal cells. Due to its local effect, systemic immunosuppression is not expected, and this may have a negative effect on the extra-intestinal symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease, particularly spondyloarthritis.

In the present study, we investigated the course of vertebral arteries along the craniovertebral junction (CJ) to cast light on the biomechanical aspects of aneurysm formation, focusing mainly on the relation of the vertebral artery injuries to the CJ bony landmarks. Herein, we report our experience with fourteen cases of craniovertebral junction vertebral artery (CJVA) aneurysms and their presentations, management, and outcomes.

Therefore, it is important to study chromosome evolution in pomegranate to understand the dynamics of its population. Here, we assembled the Azerbaijani cultivar "Azerbaijan guloyshasi" (AG2017; 2n = 16) and re-sequenced six cultivars to track the evolution of pomegranate and to compare it with previously published assembled and re-sequenced cultivars.

Background: Carotid artery stenting (CAS) is a minimally invasive and proven percutaneous procedure that is widely used to treat patients with symptomatic and asymptomatic carotid artery stenosis. The purpose of this study was to characterize the in-hospital outcomes of symptomatic and asymptomatic patients undergoing CAS at a single neurovascular center.
Methods: The study was conducted as a retrospective analysis of 1158 patients (asymptomatic, = 636; symptomatic, = 522; male, = 816; median age, 71 years; NASCET method, 70-99% stenosis, = 830) who underwent CAS between May 2009 and December 2020.

The aim of this study was to optimize the diagnosis of postpartum inflammatory complications. 150 puerperas who gave written informed consent to participate in clinical and laboratory studies were divided into two groups: the main group included puerperas with developed postpartum complications (n = 100), the comparison group included puerperas with a physiological course of the postpartum period (n = 50). The data of biochemical blood tests and bacteriological analysis of aspirated vaginal contents under aseptic conditions after childbirth were used as material.
