The article examines the role of the processes of natural and migration movement of the population in changing the total population of the regions of Russia for more than two decades of the XXI century. Six possible combinations of these processes are proposed, which result in either an overall increase in the population or a reduction. During the period under review, various scenarios in a number of regions had fairly stable trends - a constant decline in the population or a stable increase in it.

Methanol plays an important role in studying the structure and dynamics of hydrogen bonds in alcohols and other physiologically important compounds in the condensed state. The physical vapor deposition method and two-beam interferometry make it possible to study the structure of polyatomic molecules, the nature and character of intermolecular interactions, and the internal structure of various compounds. Thus, it becomes possible to analyze changes in the internal structure of substances near the points of their phase transitions and glass transitions at ultralow temperatures.

The interaction of host molecules with water molecules is of primary importance in astrophysical and atmospheric studies. Water-binding interactions continue to attract a broad interest in various fields, especially those related to the formation of assembly structures. Using the physical vapor deposition (PVD) method and a two-beam interferometer with a wavelength of 406 nm, the refractive indices of thin films of a water and nitrogen (argon) mixture were calculated in the range from 15 to 35 K.

The histamine content in bioamine-containing cells and the content of NSE cells of the lymph nodes were studied in rats in 40 min and in 2 and 4 h after bone marrow allotransplantation by using the cross luminescence-histochemical method and immunohistochemical method, respectively. Within 2 h after allotransplantation of the bone marrow, a significant increase in histamine content in bioamine-containing cells and an increase in the number of NSE cells in the period were observed. Both APUD and NSE+ cells were found to be heterogeneous by staining and luminescence.

We studied oleogels containing zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) and lupane triterpenoids in sunflower oil for the treatment of burns. The modification of ZnO was carried out by treatment with alcohol solutions of betulin, betulonic acid, betulin diacetate and betulin diphosphate. The properties of modified ZnO NPs were studied by powder XRD (average sizes of 10-20 nm), FTIR (νZnO 450 cm), UV-vis (345-360 nm), and blue-violet emission (380-420 nm).

Serotonin-containing cytostructures of mouse bone marrow after autotransplantation were studied using Falk-Hillarp luminescent histochemical method, and expression of antiapoptotic marker was determined by the immunohistochemical reaction. Autotransplantation of the bone marrow in mice led to an increase in the number of mast cells; in 40 and 120 min after autotransplantation, serotonin content in mast cells increased by 12 and 23%, respectively, and in hemopoietic cells of the bone marrow - by 24 and 78%, respectively, which affected the early stages of proliferation and differentiation of hemopoietic cells. The mitotic index in bone marrow smears at these terms increased by 3.

Morphological structures involved in local regulation of tissue processes and the neurotransmitters they produce are assumed to play an important role in the pathogenesis of oncological diseases. We studied the dynamics of neurotransmitter cell counts and distribution of catecholamines and serotonin in them and analyzed proliferative activity of hemopoietic cells in the bone marrow of mice after bone marrow autotransplantation. The bone marrow of male mice was studied by fluorescent and immunohistochemical methods after injection of the bone marrow from the same mouse into the caudal vein.

Suspension of the bone marrow from feline femur (1 ml bone marrow diluted in isotonic saline, 1:2) was injected into the caudal vein. The activity of betulin-3,28-diphosphate (BDP) in combination with the cytostatics such as 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) and hydrazine sulfate (HS) was demonstrated by using the transplanted Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC) in mice. The dose-dependent effect of combination drugs BDP + HS and BDP + 5-FU was revealed by in vitro experiments on rats. The synergetic effect of HS and BDP on oxidative stress and energy metabolism was established.

We used Cre/loxP recombination to swap targeting ligands present on the adenoviral capsid protein IX (pIX). A loxP-flanked sequence encoding poly-lysine (pK-binds heparan sulfate proteoglycans) was engineered onto the 3'-terminus of pIX, and the resulting fusion protein allowed for routine virus propagation. Growth of this virus on Cre-expressing cells removed the pK coding sequence, generating virus that could only infect through alternative ligands, such as a tyrosine kinase receptor A (TrkA)-binding motif engineered into the capsid fibre protein for enhanced infection of neuronal cells.
