Unlabelled: Laparoscopy is increasingly used in emergency surgery, demonstrating several advantages over open interventions.
Material And Methods: A systematic literature review for 2018-2023 was performed, searching PubMed, MEDLINE, RSCI, CyberLeninka databases. 33 studies on the use of laparoscopy in acute surgical abdominal diseases were selected.
Objective: To study several non-respiratory lung functions in conjunction with the respiratory component in acute abdominal diseases with different natures of the inflammatory process; to identify the key mechanisms of organ damage; and, based on the data, establish a new syndrome in urgent surgery-pulmonary distress syndrome-and evaluate the effectiveness of Remaxol in its treatment.
Material And Methods: Chronic experiments have been done on dogs. Under anesthesia, progressive acute peritonitis was simulated in the first group (24) (the first subgroup (12) received infusion therapy, the second subgroup (12) received Remaxol (20 mL/kg)), in the second group (8) acute destructive pancreatitis, in the third group (8) acute obstructive ileus.
Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) synthases are large enzymes present in every living cell. They consist of a transmembrane and a soluble domain, each comprising multiple subunits. The transmembrane part contains an oligomeric rotor ring (c-ring), whose stoichiometry defines the ratio between the number of synthesized ATP molecules and the number of ions transported through the membrane.

The aim of our work was study of second mesiobuccal canal in maxillary first molar and compare obtained data with literature sources for increasing the efficiency of treatment.
Materials And Methods: The study involved 59 patients with exacerbation of chronic pulpitis or chronic periodontitis who were distributed according to age: 14-20 years, 21-30 years and 31-40 years.
One of the promising drug delivery tools is ferritin, which features high stability at a wide range of conditions and protects cargo by its spherical protein shell. We studied the self-assembly into homoglobules of ferritin from H. pylori and a chimeric protein ferritin-SUMO.

The ArdA DNA-mimic antirestriction proteins inhibit type I restriction-modification (RMI) systems by binding instead of DNA to RMI. The ArdA specificity to DNA methylation sites recognized by RMI complexes remains poorly understood; i.e.

The production of HeRs for structural and functional investigations has proven challenging, as evidenced by the structural elucidation of only two proteins and the functional characterization of a few others to date. Notably, no eukaryotic HeRs have been reported thus far.

The sensory processing issues can be an evidence-based target for therapeutic/corrective interventions by controlling the intensity and targeted replacement of maladaptive sensory stimuli with neutral stimuli using virtual reality or augmented reality.

Background: We examined the prevalence and spread of conspiracy beliefs about the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic among representatives of the Russian population. Our study aimed to identify belief clusters and develop predictive models to understand the factors that influence conspiracy beliefs, particularly in the context of how they might evolve in response to socio-political events and cause mental disturbances, thus in relation to specific pathways of the infodemic and psychodemic waves that spread among vulnerable population groups.
Methods: Data respondents to the international COMET-G study living in Russia during pandemic period (n=7,777) were analyzed using descriptive statistics, K-means clustering, and various machine learning models, including gradient boosting.
Unlabelled: Etiologic and pathogenetic aspects cause the most contentious issue in the study of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) syndrome in childhood and adolescence. Some researchers have linked the emergence of this group of diseases with abnormal occlusion, others have more emphasis on the age characteristics of a growing organism, or rather on a number of morphological and psychomotor processes arising and ending at puberty and cause physiological abnormalities in the growing organism. The aim of the study was to improve the method of complex treatment of TMJ dysfunction in adolescence by exploring its development factors with early diagnosis methods.

Although a number of tTG inhibitors have been developed, the molecular determinants governing ligand binding remain incomplete due to the lack of high-resolution structural data in the vicinity of its active site. In this study, we obtained the complete high-resolution model of tTG by in silico methods based on available PDB structures.

Microbial rhodopsin (MRs) ion channels and pumps have become invaluable optogenetic tools for neuroscience as well as biomedical applications. Recently, MR-optogenetics expanded towards subcellular organelles opening principally new opportunities in optogenetic control of intracellular metabolism and signaling precise manipulations of organelle ion gradients using light. This new optogenetic field expands the opportunities for basic and medical studies of cancer, cardiovascular, and metabolic disorders, providing more detailed and accurate control of cell physiology.

Material And Methods: Experimentally on 60 mongrel dogs with acute peritonitis, pancreatitis, intestinal obstruction of varying severity, the state of renal function, including detoxification, was assessed based on the assessment of the inflow-outflow difference in the level of toxins and in the parenchyma of organs - the composition of lipids, the activity of peroxidation of membrane lipids and phospholipases. Clinical and laboratory studies included patients with acute peritonitis (48), acute pancreatitis (18), intestinal obstruction (21), acute purulent secondary pyelonephritis (19).
Thick smoothly graded AlGaAs layers (50-100 µm) are used in light-emitting diode structures and also for creation of high-power photovoltaic converters with side-input of laser radiation. To achieve the required thickness of the AlGaAs layer the high temperature LPE growth technique is required. However high epitaxial temperature increases the unintentional doping level.

Due to the rapidly increasing incidence, in particular in Western countries, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is gaining importance as the disease can develop into hepatocellular carcinoma. Lipid accumulation in hepatocytes has been identified as the characteristic structural change in MASLD development, but molecular mechanisms responsible for disease progression remained unresolved.

Ferritin is a universal protein complex responsible for iron perception in almost all living organisms and has applications from fundamental biophysics to drug delivery and structure-based immunogen design. Different platforms based on ferritin share similar technological challenges limiting their development - control of self-assembling processes of ferritin itself as well as ferritin-based chimeric recombinant protein complexes. In our research, we studied self-assembly processes of ferritin-based protein complexes under different expression conditions.
