The present study is an update on the situation of potential vectors of in Tunisia. Investigations in nine Tunisian regions (Nabeul, Bizerte, Béja, Jendouba, Zaghouan, Kairouan, Ben Arous, Tunis and Manouba) from 2018 to 2021 allowed for the observation of 3758 Aphrophoridae among a total of 9702 Auchenorrhyncha individuals collected by sweep net. Four Aphrophoridae species were identified with as most abundant (62%), followed by (28%), (5%) and (5%).

Examination of the materials on Cavatorium dumetorum (Dlabola, 1981), including the type specimens, revealed that Dlabola (1981) based his description of this species on mixed type series. C. dumetorum sensu stricto is clearly distinguished by male anal tube with latero-apical processes and ventral phallobase lobe narrowing apically.

The tribe Adelungiini Baker, 1915 is recorded for the first time from Turkey and the genus Achrus Lindberg, 1925 is recorded for the first time from China based on Achrus albicosta (Kusnezov, 1929) collected by Kozlov's Mongol-Sichuan expedition in Inner Mongolia at the beginning of last century and recently-in Eastern Anatolia, Elaziğ Province. New locality records as well as illustrations of external view and male genitalia structures for A. albicosta are given from Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Iran.

Three fossil genera, Krundia Szwedo, 2019, Breukoscelis Szwedo, 2019, and Uphodato Szwedo, 2019, described in the family Issidae are transferred to other families according to the shape and venation of forewings.
