Background: Photobiomodulation (PBM) and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) are used to reduce neck pain.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the in vivo response of different wavelengths (red and near-infrared) of light-emitting diode (LED) on full-thickness skin grafts (FTSG) in rats. Thirty rats were randomly allocated into three experimental groups: control group (C); red LED treated group (R); and near-infrared LED group (NIR). Skin grafts were irradiated daily for ten consecutive days, starting immediately after the surgery using a red (630 nm) or near-infrared (850 nm) LED.

Unlabelled: The aim of the study will be to compare different types of analgesic electrical currents in relation to the pressure pain threshold and sensory comfort in healthy individuals. A total of 100 individuals will be randomly assigned to four groups: transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, interferential current, Aussie current or placebo. The electrical stimulation will be administered with a strong level for 30 min and to the placebo group, the electrodes will be positioned while the equipment will remain switched off.
