Introduction: Evidence on the early life risk factors of adult CRS, and the history of asthma and allergies across the life course, is limited.

Aim: To investigate relationships between respiratory infective/allergic conditions in childhood, and asthma and allergies across the life course and CRS in middle age.

Methods: Data were from the population-based Tasmanian Longitudinal Health Study (TAHS) cohort, first studied in 1968 when aged 6-7 years (n = 8583) and serially followed into middle age (n = 3609).

Circular RNA Cdr1as inhibits proliferation and delays injury-induced regeneration of the intestinal epithelium.

Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are highly expressed in the mammalian intestinal epithelium, but their functions remain largely unknown. Here, we identified the circRNA Cdr1as as a repressor of intestinal epithelial regeneration and defense. Cdr1as levels increased in mouse intestinal mucosa after colitis and septic stress, as well as in human intestinal mucosa from patients with inflammatory bowel disease and sepsis.

Developing a tool to measure contributions to medication-related processes in family practice.

This paper describes the development and preliminary exploration of the psychometric properties of a tool designed to measure contributions to family practice medication-related processes. Our team identified medication-related processes commonly occurring in family practice.
