Symptomatic gastric heterotopic pancreas: clinical presentation and review of the literature.

Heterotopic pancreas is usually asymptomatic. Associated complications include ulceration, bleeding and obstruction, especially gastric outlet obstruction. Acute and chronic pancreatitis including malignant change have been reported.
