Aim: The study aimed to assess the remineralizing potential of four different commercially available agents using a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis, and Vickers Microhardness (VMH) Test.
Materials And Methods: Forty-four specimens ( = 11 per group) were prepared from extracted teeth. A window of 6 mm × 4 mm was made on all the specimens that represented three zones, namely, sound enamel, demineralized enamel, and remineralized enamel.
The reaction of (acetalaryl)arylmethanols with various phosphines PRRR (R = R = R = Ph; R = R = Ph, R = Me and R = R = Me, R = Ph) under acidic conditions (e.g., HCl, HBF, TsOH) unexpectedly led to the formation of (10-hydroxy-9,10-dihydroanthr-9-yl)phosphonium salts instead of the corresponding anthryl phosphonium salts.

Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) also referred to as Churg-Strauss syndrome is a rare vasculitis of the small to medium vessels. We present a rare case of acute coronary artery dissection brought on by EGPA, which generally has a poor prognosis. A 41-year-old male with history of bronchial asthma presented to the emergency room with a 2-week history of dyspnea, cough with clear phlegm, and fever.

They have a shorter latency period and an aggressive behavior when compared with spontaneously occurring meningiomas. We report a 69-year-old male who underwent high-dose radiotherapy for recurrent pituitary adenoma and later developed temporal high-grade meningioma which was excised.

The majority of OPMDs are asymptomatic in early stages and can be detected on routine oral examination. Though only a proportion of OPMDs may transform to oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), they may serve as a surrogate clinical lesion to identify individuals at risk of developing OSCC.

Their characteristic feature is substitution of the aromatic system by one, two, or three organophosphorus groups, which determine their properties and applications. The (P, P, P) phosphorus atom in organophosphorus groups is linked to the acene directly by a P-C bond or indirectly through an oxygen atom by a P-O-C bond.

Materials And Methods: Thirty six zirconia blocks of 2 mm × 3 mm × 5 mm were milled and luted to the exposed dentin surfaces and grouped into three according to the cement used for luting: Group I - luted with Panavia F2.0, Group II - luted with RelyX U200, and Group III - luted with FujiCEM.
Aims: To compare the length of styloid process assessed using computed tomography (CT) and panoramic radiographs (PAN).
Materials And Methods: PAN were taken for 15 patients requiring CT reporting to PMS Dental College or metro scans, after obtaining informed consent and fulfilling all the inclusion and exclusion criteria. CT images were taken in metro scans.

Context: : Many standard books, literatures, and internet described the characteristic lineament of each salivary gland lesion. Nevertheless, there are dozens of disarray, confusion, and unmanageable morphological features regarding proper reporting. To fight with these issues, Milan System for Reporting Salivary Gland Cytopathology (MSRSGC) was introduced in 2018, but still the third category, Atypia of undetermined significance (AUS), poses difficulties for the pathologists and clinicians for a definite interpretation.

Materials And Methods: One hundred human mandibular premolars with single root and single canal with canal curvature <10° were randomly divided into five groups ( = 20 teeth per group). The root canals were instrumented using hand K-files (positive control), full sequence rotary files PTG and PTN, and reciprocating single-file system WOG.
Pseudo-vascular adenoid squamous cell carcinoma (PASCC) is an uncommon histological variant. It is characterized by an acantholysis of the tumor cells and the formation of anastomosing spaces and channels. It gives a false appearance of glandular differentiation mimicking angiosarcoma.

The use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenator (ECMO) has significantly increased in the past 20 years. There is a high incidence of acute kidney injury (AKI) in the group of patients on ECMO, with need for continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) in most of them. This article will review the basics of CRRT, its indications, the technical aspects of incorporating CRRT with ECMO circuit, data on clinical aspects, and outcomes.
