Brazilian Cerrado is recognised as a biodiversity hotspot due to the presence of endemic species with great biological potential. Particularly, , is a rare species found in the Cerrado region in midwestern Brazil. Efforts have been made for its conservation in the Cerrado, such as the use of micropropagation, demanding a comparative analysis between grown plants and those collected from nature.

This descriptor is a fingerprint vector with defined sizes and values of 0 and 1, with the ability to correct chemical shift fluctuations. To explore the applicability of SpectraFP, we outlined two application scenarios: (1) the prediction of six functional groups by machine learning (ML) models and (2) the search for structures based on the similarity between the query spectrum and spectra in an experimental database, both in the SpectraFP format.

Anterior rhinoscopy identified a unilateral hypervascular lobular mass occupying the entire left nasal cavity. Imaging studies documented an extensive soft tissue density lesion in the left nasal cavity with complete infiltration of the anterior ethmoid, limited indentation of the medial wall of the orbit, bone demineralisation of the cribriform plate and involvement of the anterior cranial fossa.

We present a novel hybrid concept for channel-based discrete microfluidics with integrated electrowetting functionality by incorporating co-planar electrodes (separated by a narrow gap) in one of the microchannel walls. By combining the high throughput of channel-based microfluidics with the individual drop control achieved using electrical actuation, we acquire the strengths of both worlds.
